Before unpacking the product, memorize the position of each accessory in case you need to repack it in the future.
Do not lift or pull the door during transport and do not use it as a support.
When moving, the appliance must not be tilted more than 45 degrees (the angle with respect to the vertical direction). Please avoid subjecting the appliance to strong vibrations and bumps, as these could affect its operation. Never place the appliance horizontally or upside down. Place it on its base and move it to the desired location using its castors.

INSTALLATION

  • Before connecting your fridge to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the product label corresponds to the voltage in your home. A different voltage could damage the appliance.
  • The appliance must be grounded. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that may occur as a result of ungrounded use.
  • The fridge must be placed on a completely flat surface; allow 5 and 10 cm on each side of the appliance, 7’5 cm between the back and the wall, and allow 10 cm between the top of the appliance and the ceiling. An incorrect location could increase the noise of the appliance.
  • Choose a well-ventilated place, where the appliance is not exposed to sunlight, high temperature or humidity, as the latter may cause stains.
  • It is recommended to install the appliance in a place where the ambient temperature is between 16°C and 38aC. Outside this range, the internal temperature of the appliance may vary from that set by the user.
  • If the appliance tips over for any reason, wait 10 minutes before returning it to its original position. This allows the refrigerant system pressure to equalize before turning it back on.
  • To move the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply and remove all food inside.

Your appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant.
Although R600a is a natural and environmentally friendly gas, it is flammable. Therefore, you should be careful during transportation and installation of the product. In the event of a leak, move the fridge away from open flames or heat source and ventilate the room where the appliance is located for a few minutes.

REVERSIBLE DOOR
The side for which the fridge door opens can be altered from the right side to the left side, in case your installation site requires it.
When replacing the door, make sure that the appliance is completely turned off and disconnected from the power supply.

FUNCTIONING

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The fridge is controlled with a temperature control knob located inside it. Adjust the control knob as desired to suit your individual preference:

  • 0 is off setting
  • 1 is cold setting
  • 7 is coldest setting
  • In the off position (0) the appliance does not operate (the cooling system is switched off), but power supply is not interrupted.
  • The running time and temperature are affected by where the fridge is located, how often the door is opened and the temperature of the room the fridge is located in.
  • When you use the appliance for the first time or after defrosting, adjust the control knob to the coldest setting for at least 2 hours before introducing food to be stored, and then readjust to the middle setting.

DEFROSTING
Refrigerator has to be defrosted manually
To save energy, we recommend routine removal of excess frost (3-4 mm) from the inside of the equipment and the cooling grids. Never use sharp or pointed objects or metal tools, humidifiers or heaters, hairdryers or anti-freeze sprays to do this job. They could irreparably damage the cooling circuit and be a source of danger in equipment with R600a.We recomend defrosting when the compartment is empty or only containing a few items of food.
To defrost, proceed as follows:

  • Remove all frozen food from the fridge and keep it in a cool place.
  • Set the temperature regulator to the OFF position and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
  • Wipe off condensation with a cloth or sponge.
  • Dry the fridge.
  • Switch the fridge on againt and set the thermostat as desired and out frozen food back in the fridge.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

To get the most out of the appliance, please read carefully the following tips on food placement:

  • There should always be space between foods to facilitate air circulation.
  • Food should be kept in an airtight package to prevent it from drying or having a bad odor.
  • Hot food must be cooled before being placed in the fridge.
  • Otherwise, the temperature and therefore the power consumption will increase.
  • Vegetables should be placed in the fridge’s drawers. Never freeze fresh fruits and vegetables, as they will be unfit for consumption after thawing.
  • Reducing the frequency of the door being opened can efficiently reduce electricity consumption.
  • Place fresh foods, such as fish or meat, in the fridge to preserve their flavor and nutrients.
  • Do not put fresh food directly in contact with already frozen food.
  • Never refreeze a defrosted product.

FRESH FOOD CARE
For best results:

  • Store foods that are fresh and of good quality. Make sure foods are tightly wrapped or covered before storing. This will prevent food from dehydration, spoilage or loss of flavor and help maintain freshness. It will also prevent odor transfer. It is not necessary to wrap vegetables and fruit if they are stored in the crisper drawer of the fridge.
  • Make sure foods that give off a strong odor are wrapped or covered properly and placed away from foods such as butter or milk that may be contaminated by such strong odors.
  • Allow hot foods to cool down before placing them in the fridge.

DAIRY FOODS AND EGGS

  • Most prepackaged dairy products have a “use by /best before/best by/ date” recommendation stamped on them. Store them in the fridge and consume them within the recommended time.
  • Butter can be contaminated with strong-smelling foods, so it is best to store it in a sealed container.
  • Eggs should be stored in the fridge.

RED MEAT

  • Place fresh red meat on a plate and wrap it with cling film or aluminum foil.
  • Store cooked and raw meat in separate dishes. This will prevent any fluids from the raw meat from contaminating the cooked meat.

POULTRY

  • Completely fresh poultry should be washed inside and out with cold water, dried and placed on a plate. Wrap them in cling film or aluminum foil.
  • Poultry pieces should also be stored in this manner. Whole poultry should never be stuffed until the moment before it is cooked, otherwise the food will lose quality.

FISH AND SEAFOOD

  • Whole fish or fish fillets should be eaten the same day they are purchased. Until you are going to cook them, place them on a plate covered with plastic film or aluminum foil.
  • If you are going to store fish for a long time, you should buy fresh fish. Whole fish should be washed with cold water to remove loose scales and dirt and then dried with kitchen paper. Store whole fish or fillets in a sealed plastic bag.
  • Keep seafood refrigerated at all times. They should be consumed within 1 -2 days.

PRECOOKED FOODS AND LEFTOVERS

  • These should be stored in properly covered containers so that thefood does not dry out.
  • Keep them for 1 -2 days maximum.
  • Reheat leftovers only once.

CRISPER DRAWER

  • The vegetable drawer is the ideal storage place for fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Be careful not to store the following products at temperatures below 7°C for long periods of time: citrus fruits, melons, melons, eggplants, pineapples, papayas, zucchini, passion fruit, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes.
  • Low temperatures may cause undesirable changes in foods, such as softening, color changes and/or accelerated spoilage.
  • Do not refrigerate avocados (until they are ripe), bananas and mangoes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The appliance must be maintained and cleaned frequently. For your safety, remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
To clean the fridge’s cavity, please, consider the following notes:
