WARNINGS
- CAUTION — Do not use this device near bath tubs, showers, sinks or other water containers.
- This device may be used by children aged 8 and over, and by people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or people lacking in experience or knowledge, as long as they are supervised or have received instructions on how to use the device safely, and understand the dangers pre- sent. Children must not play with the device. Children must not carry out cleaning or main- ten ance on the device without supervision.
- When using the device in a bathroom, unplug it after use, because its proximity to water can present a danger even when the device is switched off.
- Switch off and unplug the device after use and before cleaning it.
- To ensure extra protection, it is advised that, when connecting the device to the mains electrical circuit in a bathroom, you install a residual current device (RCD) with a residual operating current set at a maximum of 30mA. Seek advice from your installer.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service department, or a person with a similar qualification, in order to avoid danger.
- Burn hazard. Keep appliance out of reach from young children, particularly during use and cool down.
- When the appliance is connected to the power supply, never leave it unattended.
- Always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
- Since the upper part of the product will heat up during normal use, do not touch it to prevent burns.
NOTE: Always use the appliance in a correct way; ensure the
steam diffusor and comb towards the hair tips.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their

order to avoid danger. This device is intended exclusively for domestic use.
Do not use the device on wet/damp hair. Do not use the device for purposes
other than the use for which it was intended. Do not use any accessories other
than those recommended by the manufacturer. Always check the appliance before
using it. Never use this appliance if the plug or the cable are damaged, if it
is not working properly, if it has been dropped, if it is damaged or if the
power supply has been dropped in water. Do not leave the device switched on
unattended. Some parts of the appliance can become very hot when in use.
Always hold the appliance by the handle. Do not wrap the power cable around
the appliance. Wait until the device is completely cool before putting it
away. Allow it to cool on a flat, smooth, heat-resistant surface.
BEFORE USING THE DEVICE
- Remove all packaging.
- Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth. Dry the device.
- Fully uncoil the power cable
OPERATION
PROCEDURE TO FILL THE WATER TANK BEFORE PLUGGING IN DEMELISS TITANIUM:
Remove the water tank from its base by carefully sliding it in the direction indicated. Open the water tank and fill it to the top, using the small plastic bottle included in the box. Put the tank back into its base, making sure it is inserted properly (a clicking sound indicates that the tank has been correctly inserted into the base).
PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE WATER TANK:
- It is best to use filtered water to fill the tank.
- Do not add anything to the water in the tank, such as fragrances, essential oils or softening agents.
- When the water level is low, immediately fill the tank to ensure your appliance operates properly.
- After use, empty the tank to avoid any leaks or health risks if the product is not used for a long period of time.
DETACHABLE COMB:
At detachable comb is incorporated on one side of the lower heating plate of
the hair straightener. If you wish to straighten your hair without using the
detachable comb, please remove it before switching the appliance on by sliding
the comb outwards as shown in the pictogram below.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE/TOUCH THE DETACHABLE COMB IF THE HAIR
STRAIGHTENER IS STILL WARM. RISK OF BURNS! REMOVE ONLY ONCE THE APPLIANCE HAS
COOLED DOWN COMPLETELY.
The detachable comb can be washed in water, ideally slightly soapy. Take care not to reinsert the comb into the appliance until it has cooled down completely. Do not touch the top during normal use. Risk of burn!
FIRST USE OF DEMELISS TITANIUM :
- Plug the appliance in. The screen will display “OFF” and two beeps will confirm that the appliance is plugged in. Hold down the ON/OFF button to activate the appliance.
- Upon activation, the default temperature displayed will be 190°C; use the [+] and [-] buttons to select the desired temperature. If no buttons are pressed, the appliance will automatically lock after 5 seconds. Hold down the [-] button for 1 second to unlock it.
OPERATION OF DEMELISS TITANIUM:
- Deme liss TITANIUM reaches its maximum temperature of 230°C in 45 seconds.
- Each time the temperature is adjusted, the indicator light blinks. The desired temperature has been reached when the indicator light stops blinking. A single beep indicates that the desired temperature has been reached.
- When the desired temperature is selected, the device automatically locks the temperature setting after five seconds. This function prevents you from involuntarily changing the temperature by accidentally pressing the buttons. To unlock the appliance, press the “-” button for at least three seconds.
- You can choose from five temperature settings: 150°C, 170°C, 190°C, 210°C, 230°C.
- Recommended temperature settings for each hair type: 150°C: For damaged hair • 170°C: For very fine hair • 190°C: For normal hair • 210°C: For thick/curly hair • 230°C: For curly/frizzy hair.
- The steam button can be used to activate or deactivate the steam function. Before using the steam function, keep the Demeliss TITANIUM plates closed until steam is produced.
If the appliance is not used for 60 minutes, it will switch off automatically. Keep the button depressed to switch it on again.
CLEANING
- Switch off and unplug the device.
- Allow the device to cool.
- Remove any hair that may have been left on the brush.
- Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth and then dry it.
WARNING! Do not immerse the device and/or its power cable in liquid: risk of short-circuit or electric shocks.
