Product Information

• The Luxury Headbanded Earmuff is designed to provide excellent protection against high-frequency noise commonly found in dynamic machines such as workshop equipment and motor saws. It features ABS cups with a steel headband for durability and comfort.
• The earmuffs have a mean attenuation of 21.8 dB to 42.0 dB across different frequencies, providing effective noise isolation. The weight of the earmuffs is 260g, ensuring a lightweight and comfortable fit.
• The headband is made of EVA, elastic fabric, PVC, and steel. The cushion is made of PVC and sponge, while the earcup is made of ABS.
• It is important to replace the entire product every 2-3 years to maintain optimal performance and prevent any degradation in quality.
• Cleaning the earmuffs can be done using warm soap water. Avoid using organic solvents or alcohol for cleaning.
• Disinfection is required every 3 months based on usage. Use a suitable disinfectant product for plastics that is not known to be harmful to the wearer. Ensure all parts of the earmuffs that come into contact with the wearer are disinfected.
• The earmuffs comply with European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the European standard EN352-1:2002 for Hearing Protectors – General Requirements – Part 1: Ear-muffs. They bear the mandatory conformity marking for the European Economic Area and the notified body number of SATRA Technology Europe Limited.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Slide the headband open as far as possible and position the earmuffs over your ears with the headband over your head.
2. Adjust the headband to the correct position and set the height of the earcups to a comfortable position, ensuring theheadband keeps the earmuffs in place.
3. The ear cushions should fit snugly against your head.
4. Adjust the earcups for effective sound isolation.

Warning
The following are the average attenuation values (in dB) for different frequencies:

1. These ear-muffs are of ‘Small’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Large’ size range. Ear-muffs complying with EN 352-1 are of ‘medium size range’ or ‘small size range’ or ‘large size range’. ‘Medium size range’ ear-muffs will fit the majority of wearers. ‘Small size range’ or ‘large size range’ ear-muffs are designed to fit wearers for whom ‘medium size range’ ear-muffs are not suitable.
2. The ear-muffs should be regularly checked for serviceability. Put the ear-muffs on before exposing to noise, and wear them during the whole noise exposure. Be warned that failure to adhere to these recommendations will cause the protection afforded by the ear-muffs to be severely impaired.
3.  This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be getting from the manufacture.
4. Ear-muffs and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and deterioration. Replace ear-muff after 2 or 3 years normal use or sooner if it shows any signs of deterioration.
5.  The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the ear-muffs. No spare part available. The whole product must be change if necessary.
6. Ensure ear-muffs are fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers instruction.
7. The product contains metallic components that may increase electrical hazards.

Replacement:
In order to keep the best product features and avoid any materials change its quality, please replace whole product at least every 2-3 years.

Application

When worn properly and given adequate care, it provides excellent protection that filters high frequency noise which is found in most noise problems from dynamic machine such as workshop equipment, motor saws, etc.

Regulation:
This hearing protector complies with the requirements of the European Regulation(EU) 2016/425 by means of the European Standard EN352-1: 2002 Hearing protectors—General requirements—Part 1: Ear-muffs

Instruction for use

1. Extend headband to maximum open position and place the cups over the ears with the headband passing over the head.
2. Settle the headband in position on the head while adjusting the height of the ear cups until they feel comfortable and the headband rests on top of the head to support the muffs.
3. The ear cushions should be a snug fit against the head.
4.  Adjust the headband ear cups to ensure an effective noise seal.

Product Specifications

• Cleaning : Cleaning with warm soap water, do not use organic solvents or alcohol for cleaning.

• Disinfection :

  • It’s required to disinfect the ear-muffs every 3 months, according to the use.
  • Any part of the ear-muffs which is in contact with the wearer shall be disinfected with a product suitable for use on the plastics and not know to be harmful to the wearer.

• Material : Headband: EVA + elastic fabric + PVC + steel; Cushion: PVC + sponge; Earcup: ABS

• Storage :
  Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight. Store it out of the reach of children. When not in use, it’s recommended to store the ear-muffs in a clean and dry polybag. Packaging suitable for transport: Put the ear-muffs in a clean and dry poly-bag. If more than one ear-muffs, put them in a suitable box or carton. For models equipped with PVC leather headband, it is not allowed to store the products in the temperature higher than 45 °C. The environmental friendly material used for the PVC leather will have qualitative change under excessive high temperature either in transportation or storage over time.
