Charging
Basic charging method
- Plug the charger into the socket first. Check that the green LED is lit and the charger is not damaged (smoke, unussual smell, strange noises, etc.). Then open the charging port cover and connect the the connector of the charger.
- The information LED will turn red during charging. When the battery is fully charged, it will turn green. Then disconnect the charger from the scooter first and then from the power outlet.
- Be sure to close the charging port cap before riding or storing the scooter.
- When connecting the connector to the charging port, sparking may occur due to voltage differences which is a common occurrence.
Attention
- Manufacturers and sellers are not responsible for problems caused by improper intervention, disassembly, modification of the charging system or use of non-original chargers.
- Do not make use of the charger in places subject to high humidity, heat, fiammable materials, confined spaces, or where there is no ventilation.
- The charger is thoroughly sealed to prevent moisture from entering the charger but the charger is NOT waterproof.
- Children and pets should not be allowed to approach the charger. Contact with the charger while it is in use may cause electric shock.
- Discontinue use immediately and contact the service centre if the charger lamp does not light, the charger falls or experiences strong external shock, or the cable cover is damaged.
- Unplug the charger from socket if you do not intend to charge.
- Use only the original charger.
- Do not insert conductors into the charging port.
- Do not touch the plug for about 10 seconds after unplugging the charger. There is a risk of electric shock from instantaneous discharge.
- Do not remove the terminal during charging. Charging the internal circuit of the charger may cause a malfunction.
- Do not operate the product during charging.
- Charging terminals should be in firm contact during charging. Do not use if terminals are corroded or damaged.
- When disconnecting the charger from the product, it is safe to hold the terminal without holding the wire

Safety rules
Check throttle and handle
- Operate the accelerator throttle lever about 2 – 3 times to check whether it returns to the home position.
- Excessive throttle leaning and manipulation can cause malfunction due to internal parts damage.
- Check the fastening condition and clearance of the QR lever on the handle.
Check brake and cable
- The braking force is suff¬cient to check the operating condition. If the braking force is significantly lowered, use it immediately after inspection and action.
- Check and make sure that the brake pad is not worn, the cable is not loose, the cable is not damaged, or there is no leakage in the case of hy- draulic brakes.
- If there is an unusual feeling or noise during operation, check for breakage, wear, and deformation of the inner wire of the brake cable.
- Check that the bolts and nuts of the brake fixing parts are not loose. Ensure that the disc is not deformed or damaged.
Check tire pressure and uniaxial condition
- Check the front and rear tires for wear and punctures. Check the proper air pressure (45 to 50 psi) for the tire. Under-inflation (tube version) increases the risk of puncture, so check the pressure more often.
- It is necessary to judge the replacement time by observing the appearance of the tire such as tire damage, uneven wear.
Tightening check such as folding part and handle part
Make sure that the bolts and nuts of all parts of the product are properly
tightened and are not easily loosened. Check the fastening condition and
clearance of the foldable and fixed parts of the handle (QR lever, fixed
slide, hinge centre bolt, headset nut, swing arm, etc.)
* If
there is a folding clearance,*
If there is a folding clearance, it can be adjusted with a tongue bolt.
However, if you pull it too hard, it will become stifi without a gap and may
cause a crackling sound. In this case, readjust with the tongue bolt properly
and the noise should disappear with the proper clearance also adjusted.
In this
case, stop driving immediately.**
If you encounter any of the following situations while driving, stop driving
immediately and contact the nearest branch or service centre for proper
measures. If you provide pictures and videos to get an accurate diagnosis,
professional counseling is available.
- Unusual heating of the motor
- Braking status error
- Error messages on the instrument cluster
- Abnormal noise when the throttle is returned to its original position
- Production of smoke or sour odour during ignition
- When in rainy or wet weather conditions
- When driving is judged to be unreasonable.
Suspension
- Disconnect the front fender from the assembly with a 3mm wrench. Loosen the 18mm nut on the motor side and then Loosen the 19mm nut on the swing arm side. After loosening, remove the suspension arm.
- Adjust the motor shaft distance, the rubber cartridge replacement and the arm length to the desired suspension strength.
- Replace the cartridge when it is missing by loosening the nuts with a wrench and loosening 3mm bolts nuts. It can be changed depending on personal preference.
Mobile application
Functions such as checking the battery level, locating, and management can be implemented on the electric scooter through the app.
- Download the APP titled Fobos E-Scooter.
- Run Setup after downloading and register.
- Please scan the QR code on the inside of the cover page for app registration.
Note: The mobile phone system is required to be at least Android 4.0 or iOS 8. Make sure that the mobile phone has been connected to the Internet when running the app (Wi-Fi / 2G / 3G /4G, 5G).

Battery use and maintenance guide
Using Environment
- In order to prevent possible leakage, overheat, smoking, fire or explosion, please follow these instructions:
- The battery should be used at the temperature of -10°C to 45°C.
- Do not expose to water, beverages or corrosive liquids.
- Keep away from heat source, open fire, inflammable and explosive gases and liquids.
- Please keep metal parts away from the battery compartment.
In case of undesirable odor, noise, overheat or deformation of the battery, please disuse the battery immediately, keep away from the battery and contact your dealer.
Warning
- All operations should strictly conform to the user manual. If not, the result will be assumed by the user.
- Must always make use of an original charger.
- Pay attention to the type of battery and applied voltage. Charging with other voltage is prohibited.
- Charging should be in a ventilated environment. DO NOT charge in closed space or under high temperature. DO NOT put the charger into the trunk or tail box while charging.
- When charging, connect the charger first to the power outlet and then to the battery connector of the scooter. After the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery connector and then from the power outlet.
- When the green light turns on, disconnect the power in time.
- Avoid long-time connection between the charger and AC power supply while not charging.
- If the indicator light (charger information LED) flashes unusually during charging, the charger smells or has too high a temperature, immediately stop charging and check or replace the charger!
- When using and storing the charger, please prevent foreign matter, especially water or other liquid, from getting into the case. This may cause an internal short circuit.
- DO NOT carry the charger on the scooter, but if you must, make sure it is stored properly and it is not subject to any shocks.
- DO NOT disassemble or replace parts in the charger!
- If the battery cannot be fully charged after 12 hours, please stop charging and contact your dealer.
- To maximize the battery life, please keep the battery percentage within 20% to 80%.
- The battery will lose more capacity in lower temperature conditions. To be more specific, the usable capacity at -10°C is 70%, 85% at 0°C, and 100% at 25°C.
- The best battery capacity performance for storage is 50%. Storing the battery with less than 10% or more than 90% over a long time will cause irreversible capacity loss to the battery.
- For longer storage, it is best to remove the battery from the scooter (requires professional assembly). In this condition, please keep the battery at the temperature of 0°C to 20°C with a capacity of 30%-70%. We recommend checking the battery status every 2 months and recharging it if necessary at the required level during storage.
- If battery failure is caused by improper use or inadequate maintenance according to this User Manual, its legal warranty is void.
- Falling may cause uncontrollable internal damage to the battery and may cause leakage, overheat, smoking, fire or explosion.
