Before using the first time
Allow the panel to charge for at least 8 hours in full sunlight.
Find an ideal place for Solar Light.
Place the solar panel in an area where it will receive direct sunlight for at least 8 hours per day. The number of hours the pump will work is directly proportional to the hours of sunlight it receives. If the panel is placed in a shaded area, it will not be able to fully charge and its pumping time will be limited.

Assembly

Place the fountain base on a smooth level surface. Attach the pos connector to the fountain base. Screw post into the post connector by twisting it clockwise with the threads.  sure that the post and the post connector are snugs.

Fit the pump (attached to the fountain basin) into the pump housing on the side with the gap. (Note: The pump cord fits into the gap).

Insert the pump housing pipe into the hole on top of the pump. Rotate the nut and washer on the pipe until they are tight at the top of the pump housing. Ensure that the rectangular guide is flush with the raised areas. The bottom of the pump should be flat against the base of the ump housing.

Locate the pump power cable and feed it through the top of the post. Pull the pump power cable out of the hole under the fountain base then connect the solar panel.

Attach the fountain basin by twisting it onto the post. Ensure it is level before proceeding. Place the washers on the holes of the fountain basin. Run the cord through the gap of the pump housing. Align the holes of the pump housing and the holes of the fountain basin and washers and tighten the screws.

Place the pump cover around the pump housing. Place the lower tier on the pump housing pipe and press down until it fits into the top of the pump cover hole. Place the dish cover on the pump housing pipe followed by the pper tier followed by screwing on the top piece.
Fill The fountain basin with 1 gallon of water, being careful not to overflow and cause splashing. Make sure the water completely submerges the pump.It is recommended you use distilled water to prevent scale build-up. The first time you operate the pump it can take up to 5 minutes for the air to be completely expelled and water begins to flow properly. Plug the pump power cable into your power supply and water will start flowing.
