Find a clear area of even ground and ensure it is free of sharp objects before the shelter is pitched – these shelters require a minimum of two people to assemble and pitch correctly. Avoid pitching under trees – falling tree branches and bird poo won’t keep your shelter looking new.

Spread out the shelter and peg out one corner to hold the shelter in place, using a 4mm x 170mm peg. Angle the tent pegs at 45 degrees and use a rubber mallet to hammer the pegs into the ground (to avoid damage to the pegs).

Toinflate the Air Series Gazebo, locate the valve at the base of one of the air tubes. Remove cap and attach the hose of the air pump , ensuring the purge valve is attached to the pump. Inflate the air tubes to 7 psi maximum. As the air tubes are inflating have one person supporting each tube as it inflates to the correct pressure.
Do not try to over inflate the air tube – when the purge valve starts to purge excess air – your air tube is at maximum pressure. Secure the valve cap in a clockwise direction — do not overtighten. -
Once both air tubes are inflated then peg out the remaining peg points using a rubber mallet and angling the pegs to a 45-degree angle (Fig B). Install the groundsheet (Fig C) making sure the floor of the Air Shelter is sitting flat and even.

Peg out all the guy ropes and fine tune to smooth out any wrinkles on the shelter – DO NOT OVER TENSION as you will need to allow for changes in weather and wind strength. (Fig D)

Attach the side walls of the shelter by aligning the zipper tabs on the side wall with the side of the Air Tubes. You can change the orientation of the solid and mesh side walls depending on the prevailing wind. A solid wall on the windward side will block more wind — a mesh wall on the windward side will encourage more breeze through the shelter.
General Maintenance and Handy Pointers
Practice pitching your Air Gazebo Shelter to become familiar with the pitching
process and make sure you follow the instructions. Air naturally expands and
contracts with air temperature so for extended camping you will need to top
up to maintain a 7psi pressure. The pressure will rise and fall during the day
with the heat of the sun.
Don’t over inflate a cool shelter in the morning as the air WILL expand. Avoid
setting up Air Gazebo in strong winds and disassemble your Gazebo in high
winds as any damage caused will not be covered by the standard 12-month
Warranty.
Disassembly & Deflation
- When you are ready to move the Air Gazebo from your campsite or picnic area, unscrew the valve cap and then unscrew the valves counterclockwise a few gentle turns – let the air release gradually from the air tubes – don’t release to suddenly as it is likely to give your neighbors a fright as there is a fair bit of pressure
- Air tubes may still have residual air – this can be massaged out towards the valve direction while the tent is being folded. Always dry the tent out before you pack away to avoid mold if stored wet. Remove all side walls and stow dry.
- DO NOT pull out pegs with the peg webbing it will weaken the peg straps or break them – use another peg and its hook end to lever out other pegs or a proper peg extractor.
- When you return home, dry the Air Shelter and repack – add some silicone sachets and store in a dry area.
