Ensure proper disposal (and/or recycling, per local laws) of all interior packaging material, so that they are OUT OF REACH from both children and pets.

It is recommended that you KEEP the original packaging box, in the event that the Blipper needs to be stored away

Step one: Installing the kickstand

  • Locate the kickstand, 5 mm allen wrench, and 10 mm wrench.
  • Ensure the frame is lying flat on a smooth and even surface, with the left side facing up.
  • Locate the bottom edge of the frame (where the two holes are) right next to the rear wheel. This is the frame bracket where the kickstand will be installed
  • Remove both pre-installed screws and nuts from the frame bracket.
  • Align the top of the kickstand (where the two holes are) accordingly.
  • Pass each screw through the aligned holes.
  • Thread each nut onto each screw from the back of the frame bracket, and fully tighten each nut using the 10 mm wrench.
  • Use the 5 mm allen wrench to fully tighten the screws from the front (at the top of the kickstand).
  • Ensure that the kickstand is fully and tightly installed by pulling on it. There should be no looseness.
  • To use the kickstand, prop the product up to an upright position with both hands, and ensure the kickstand is pointed towards the ground. (If it’s not, use your foot to push the kickstand lever until it’s pointed towards the ground.) You can now gradually lean the product onto the kickstand. The kickstand should fully support the product’s weight when the product is not in use.

Step two: Installing the handlebar

  • Locate the handlebar, handlebar clamps, 10 mm wrench, and 13 mm wrench
  • Disassemble the handlebar clamps, so that all parts – including screws and nuts are separated.
  • Position the handlebar so that the accelerator lever is on the right and brake lever is on the left.
  • Place the handlebar directly on top of the bracket behind the headlight.
  • Position the top and bottom ends of the clamps onto the center of the handlebar, so the bottom ends are beneath the handlebar, and the top ends sit directly over the handlebar. (The clamps are identical, so each one can be affixed on either side.) The holes in both sets of clamps should align with the holes in the bracket.
  • Locate all four handlebar screws and pass each screw through the aligned holes from the top.
  • Thread each nut onto each screw from the bottom.
  • Simultaneously use the 13 millimeter wrench to brace each screw from the bottom, and use the 10 millimeter wrench to tighten each nut from the top. Continuously rotate the wrench until all nuts are fully tightened.
  • Ensure that the handlebar is fully and tightly installed by pulling on it.
    There should be no looseness.

Step three: Tightening the brake lever

  • Locate the brake lever and 5 mm allen wrench.
  • The brake lever is already pre-installed on the left side of the handlebar, with the lever facing outward.
  • Ensure the brake lever screw hole is aligned.
  • Using the 5 mm allen wrench, fully tighten the screw from the bottom.
  • Ensure that the brake lever is fully and tightly installed by pulling on it. There should be no looseness.

Step four: Adjusting the headlight

  • Locate the 10 mm wrench and 13 mm wrench.

  • The headlight is already pre-installed onto the frame, folded in the downward position.

  • Fold the headlight up, so the headlight is facing outward.

  • Locate the pre-installed screw and nut at the base of the headlight.

  • Simultaneously use the 13 mm wrench to brace the screw, and use the 10 mm wrench to tighten the nut. Continuously rotate the wrench until the nut is fully tightened.

  • Ensure that the headlight is fully and tightly installed by pulling on it.
    There should be no looseness.

  • The headlight switch is located beneath the battery level indicator on the right handlebar. (Note that the headlight switch will NOT turn on the headlight while the product is powered off.)

Power on

  1. Power switch:
The power switch (which is red) is located on the battery pack, on the left side of the Blipper frame.
The power switch – when flipped to the left (the ON position) – will enable all other control mechanisms to be used (i.e. ignition and accelerator lever).
Before using the product, the power switch must be in the ON position FIRST, before using the ignition key to power on the motor.
When the product is ready to be powered off, ensure the ignition is turned off FIRST, before flipping the power switch to the right (the OFF position).
    ATTENTION:
DURING RIDING: If the power switch is accidentally flipped to the OFF position while the rider is riding the product (with the ignition key still in the ON position), the motor will automatically shut off.
DURING CHARGING: The power switch must be ON during charging. (When the product is NOT charging and NOT in use, the power switch must be OFF.)
DURING STORAGE: The power switch must be OFF, if storing the product away.

  2. Ignition key:
The ignition key should be in the parent or adult supervisor’s possession at all times, unless the product is in use (under parental or adult supervision if the rider is below the age of an adult as defined by law).
The ignition key is used to turn on the motor by fully inserting it inside the ignition and turning the key to the right. (The ignition is located on top of the battery pack.)
The ignition key must stay in the ignition while the product is in use.
The ignition key will NOT turn on the motor unless the power switch is ON first.
The ignition key must be removed from the ignition while the product is not in use.

  3. Headlight switch:
The headlight switch is located directly on the bottom of the battery level indicator, above the accelerator lever on the right side of the handlebar.
To turn the headlight ON, press the headlight switch in.
To turn the headlight OFF, press the headlight switch again so that it’s popping out.
Reminder – the rider should NEVER operate the product at times or in areas of low to no visibility, including fog, mist, areas with obstructions or blind spots, and dusk / nighttime.
However, in the event more visibility is needed while the product is in use, the headlight switch can be used to turn on the headlight to increase visibility (to a limited degree).
Note that the headlight switch will NOT turn on the headlight while the product is powered off.

Riding and accelerator lever control instructions

Pre-ride checklist:

Before each use of the product, the rider and any parent or adult supervisor must follow the pre-ride checklist below.

  1. Check the presence, condition, and functionality of ALL PARTS before use, include motor, brake, battery pack, tires, spokes, headlight, and all other electric parts.
  2. Make sure that all of the exposed nuts, screws and bolts are tightened. (Not all required tools may be provided in the tool kit.)
  3. Check to make sure the battery pack is sufficiently charged.
  4. Ensure that there are no obstacles or obstructions ahead in the intended riding path.
  5. Ensure that there is only ONE rider, who is wearing sufficient safety gear, does not exceed the maximum weight limit (including any gear/accessories worn), and is using the product in the presence of parental or adult supervision (if rider is below the age of an adult as defined by law).
  6. Ensure that the handlebar is adjusted to a comfortable and appropriate level for the rider.
  7. Ensure that the parent or adult supervisor is in possession of the ignition key after each use of the product.

The rider must understand and follow the riding instructions below.

For any rider below the age of an adult (as defined by law), parental or adult supervision is required at all times when the product is in use and the rider is following the riding instructions below.

  1. Hold the product steady by the handlebars while pushing up the kickstand until the kickstand is securely in the UP position.

  2. Ensure both footpegs are folded outward all the way.

  3. Flip power switch to the left (the ON position).

  4. Ensure the rider is seated in proper and upright position, wearing safety gear and secure footwear, and has both feet ready to balance on the footpegs.

  5. Place the ignition key inside the ignition and turn the key to the right to turn on the motor.
    • The ignition key must stay in the ignition while the product is in use.
    • The key will NOT turn on the motor unless the power switch is ON first.

  6. To engage the accelerator, the rider should use their right thumb to gently press the accelerator lever (located on the right handlebar).

  7. When the rider presses the accelerator lever DOWNWARD the speed will increase. When the rider gradually releases the accelerator lever, the speed will decrease.

  8. While powered on with the accelerator engaged, the product will continuously move forward, until the accelerator lever is released and the brake is engaged. **

  9. There is NO REVERSE function for this product. The product moves in a forward motion ONLY, when powered on and the accelerator and motor are engaged.

  10. The rider should KEEP HANDS ON HANDLEBARS AT ALL TIMES while the product is in use.

** It is strongly recommended that any rider below the age of an adult (as defined by law) – together with a parental / adult supervisor – conduct multiple short practice runs (how to ride, stop, and brake safely) in a safe location at the lowest speed level, only GRADUALLY increasing the speed when all parties are comfortable doing so.

Stopping and braking

The rider must understand and follow the stopping and braking instructions below.

For any rider below the age of an adult (as defined by law), parental or adult supervision is required at all times when the product is in use and the rider is following the stopping and braking instructions below.

  1. To stop the product safely, engage the brake by gradually releasing the ACCELERATOR LEVER and depressing the BRAKE LEVER next to the left handlebar.
  2. If the product is going at a higher speed, first LOWER the speed by GRADUALLY releasing the accelerator lever, then release it entirely before depressing the brake lever.
  3. Depressing the brake will disengage power to the motor.
  4. Once the product has come to a complete stop at a safe location, the rider’s feet should be lowered from the footpegs to the ground.
  5. If the rider is disembarking from the product, first lower the kickstand to the ground, ensure that it is all the way lowered, and gradually release the handlebars until the product is safely leaning onto the kickstand.
  6. After each use of the product, ensure that it is POWERED OFF safely by:
