Safety notice

When using the PC, always observe basic safety precautions to avoid fire, electric shock and injury.

When setting up your computer, ensure that it is protected from water, dust, damp and grime. These environmental influences may result in the internal temperature of the computer rising, or in a fire or electric shock.

Please note the following in particular:

  • Do not use this product near water, e.g. close to a bath, a washbasin, a kitchen sink or in a damp basement. Always avoid any contact between the product and any form of liquid.
  • Avoid using this product during a storm. There is a risk of electric shock due to lightning strike.
  • Do not use this product to report a gas leak while you are in the vicinity of the leak..

For your safety, always unplug the computer power cord from the power source and disconnect all other connected electronic devices before opening the housing, and especially before replacing or adding components. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or cause damage to the device. The power supply unit of this product carries dangerous high voltages.

Removal of the foil, which prevents EMC radiation from escaping through the glass side window, is on your own responsibility.

Power cord and power connection requirements

  • To protect against fault currents, the device must be connected to a ground terminal. Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet. Be aware that other replacement cables may not provide adequate protection against fault currents.
  • The ground contact of the power cord must not be disabled under any circumstances. The ground contact has an important safety function.
  • Plug the power cord into a power outlet that can be easily reached at all times.
  • Disconnect the computer from the power grid by unplugging the power cord from the power outlet.
  • Only use power cords with an intact grounding conductor (don’t use a 2-pin adapter, for example).

The power cord supplied with the product complies with the applicable regulations of the country in which the product was purchased.

Start-up

Provided that all safety instructions are observed, the unit is ready for start-up.
Start-up.

  1. Open the side cover or the side window of the PC.
  2. Remove the protective transport padding in the PC interior to prevent damage due to obstructed rotors or overheating.
  3. Connect the PC via the power cable.
  4. Switch on the power supply I/O button on the power supply unit.
  5. Connect the cable connections (mouse, keyboard and screen).
  6. Power up the PC.
  7. The Windows® welcome display appears (preinstalled).

Keep your Windows up to date to ensure that your PC meets current security standards. The latest Windows updates are always automatically installed as standard prior to delivery. To be on the safe side, you can also manually check under “Settings” and “Updates and Security” whether Windows is up to date.

Cleaning and maintenance

Use only soft cloths for external cleaning of the system to prevent scratch marks.

To prevent the fans from drawing dust into the interior of the housing, filters are mounted in front of the fans. These need to be cleaned regularly. You can simply remove the filters and clean them with water. However, ensure that the filters are dry before replacing them.

Warranty terms and conditions

The standard warranty relates to a faultless functioning unit during a period of 24 months, commencing with the purchase date. The following points should be taken into account:

  • The standard warranty is a bring-in warranty, meaning that you are responsible for taking the device to the service center and we then ensure the repaired device is returned to you.
  • The warranty includes free repair and replacement of the unit or parts of the unit, if hardware faults due to defective material or construction errors occur during the specified warranty period.
  • In the case of repair orders once a warranty period has expired, you as the customer are responsible for the costs of work and parts as well as all other costs in connection with the repair order.
  • Improper installation or removal of components resulting in any damage to them is excluded from any warranty claims.
  • Failure to comply with the safety instructions, which results in water damage, electric shocks or excessive dust buildup in the product, will also be excluded from any warranty claims in the event of hardship.

Expert tip
We strongly advise against performing new BIOS updates or changing the BIOS parameters unless our team provides you with an explicit recommendation. This is because existing settings could be overwritten and reset, and system errors may occur.
