DMR-BCT765 Blu-ray Disc Recorder
Product Information: Operating Instructions Blu-ray DiscTM
Recorder
The Operating Instructions Blu-ray DiscTM Recorder is available
in four different models: DMR-BCT765, DMR-BST765, DMR-BCT760, and
DMR-BST760. The product comes with a remote control, AC mains lead,
and RF coaxial cable.
The product manual contains information on various aspects of
the product such as software (firmware) update, safety precautions,
getting started, watching broadcasts, recording, playing back
video, editing video, copying video, photo and music, network with
other equipment, other functions, setup, and reference.
Product Usage: Instructions
Before using the Operating Instructions Blu-ray DiscTM Recorder,

Software (Firmware) Update
To support the latest features of the product and maintain
proper operation, it is essential to install the latest software
updates. Refer to Software (Firmware) Update (> 80) or visit

Safety Precautions
Before using the product, read the safety precautions carefully
to avoid any damage to the unit. Some of the precautions to be

Getting Started
Follow the instructions below to get started with the
product:

Insert the supplied batteries into the remote control.

Connect the AC mains lead to the unit and plug it into a socket
outlet. -
Connect the RF coaxial cable to the unit and your TV.
Watching Broadcasts
To watch broadcasts, select the desired channel using the remote
control.
Recording
To record a program, select the channel and press the record
button on the remote control. The program will be recorded onto the
Blu-ray disc.
Playing Back Video
To play back video, insert the recorded Blu-ray disc into the
unit and select the playback option using the remote control.
Editing Video
To edit video, select the desired video using the remote control
and choose the edit option.
Copying Video, Photo and Music
To copy video, photo, and music, insert the source disc into the
unit and select the copy option using the remote control.
Network With Other Equipment
The product can be connected to other equipment using a network.
Follow the instructions in the manual to connect to other
equipment.
Other Functions
The product comes with several other functions such as timer
recording, simultaneous recording of two types, and more. Refer to
the manual for details.

AC mains lead · To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or
product damage, – Ensure that the power supply voltage
corresponds to the voltage printed on this unit. – Insert the mains plug fully
into the socket
outlet. – Do not pull, bend, or place heavy items on the
lead. – Do not handle the plug with wet hands. – Hold onto the mains plug body
when
disconnecting the plug. – Do not use a damaged mains plug or socket
outlet. · The mains plug is the disconnecting device.
Install this unit so that the mains plug can be unplugged from the socket
outlet immediately.

· Do not place sources of naked flames, such as lighted candles, on this unit.

battery(ies) in a car exposed
to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed.
– Do not take apart or short circuit. – Do not recharge alkaline or manganese
batteries. – Do not use batteries if the covering has been
peeled off. – Remove batteries if you do not intend to use
the remote control for a long period of time. Store in a cool, dark place. ·
When disposing of the batteries, please contact your local authorities or
dealer and ask for the correct method of disposal.
