Product Information: SPIN SPREADER BE-PFSXXXG

The SPIN SPREADER BE-PFSXXXG is a tool designed to spread seeds and fertilizers in gardens, lawns, and fields. The spreader comes with a hopper that can hold the seeds or fertilizers and a frame that supports it. The spreader has an adjustment lever, flow adjustment rod, rod selector, seed disc, distribution disc, agitator, and braces that allow you to set the spreader’s flow rate and pattern.

Installing Adjustment Lever

Parts Required:

1. 1. Lock Nut M10

2. 2. Adjustment Lever

3. 3. Nylon Washer

4. 4. Pressure Spring

5. 5. Hex Head Bolt M10x70

6. 6. Indicator

7. 7. Flow Adjustment Rod

8. 8. Flat Washer 10mm

9. 9. Hair Pin

10. 10. Rod Selector

11. 11. Pin Connector

Install Adjustment Lever in Frame as shown in Figure 1.

Attach Flow Adjustment Rod to Lever, insert Washer and secure with Hair Pin. (Figure 2.)

Attach Rod Selector to Frame next to Flow Adjustment Rod. Secure with Pin Connector and Hair Pin. (Figure 3.)

Installing Braces

Parts Required:

1. Flat Washer 10mm
2. 17. Brace Left
3. 18. Brace Right
4. 19. Hex Nut M10
5. 20. Lock Washer 10mm
6. 21. Hex Head Bolt M10x30

Secure Braces in Frame with Bolts as shown in Figure 4.

Placing Hopper

Parts Required:

1. 9. Hair Pin
2. 12. Retainer Bushing
3. 13. Seed Disc
4. 14. Distribution Disc
5. 15. Flat Washer 32mm
6. 16. Snap Ring Ø38 Hopper

Place Retainer Bushing in Hopper and secure firmly. (Figure 5)

Using pieces of wood (not included), create a base leveled at the same height as the Guard for easy installation. (Figure 8.)

Direction
Note position of hopper openings in relation to the front of the spreader. Figure 9.

Place Hopper over Frame. (Figure 10.)

Connect Rod Selector to Seed Disc, secure with Hair Pin. (Figure 11.)

Connect Flow Adjustment Rod to Distribution Disc. Secure with Hair Pin. (Figure 12.)

Installing Agitator

Parts Required:

1. 22. Agitator
2. 23. Nylon Washer
3. 24. Hex Head Bolt M8x45
4. 25. Lock Nut M8

Install Agitator in Hopper and secure with Bolt and Lock Nuts as shown in Figure 13.

Securing the Hopper

Parts Required:

1. Hex Nut M10
2. 26. Bolt Carriage M10x25
3. 27. Flat Washer 10.5mm
4. 28. Lock Washer

Level Hopper and drill 5 orifices to attach the Frame and Braces according to Figures 14 and 17.

Secure the Hopper with the hardware as shown in Figure 15.

The base is made of wood can be removed. Drill the remaining 4 holes in both sides of the Hopper according to Braces. Secure with hardware to Hopper Reinforcement Bar. (See Figures 16 and 17.)

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Assembling the Adjustment Lever

1. Collect the following parts: Lock Nut M10, Adjustment Lever, Nylon Washer, Pressure Spring, Hex Head Bolt M10x70, Indicator, Flow Adjustment Rod, Flat Washer 10mm, Hair Pin, Rod Selector, and Pin Connector.
2. Install the Adjustment Lever in the Frame as shown in Figure 1.
3. Attach the Flow Adjustment Rod to the Lever, insert Washer and secure with Hair Pin (Figure 2).
4. Attach the Rod Selector to the Frame next to the Flow Adjustment Rod. Secure with Pin Connector and Hair Pin (Figure 3).

Step 2: Installing Braces

1. Collect the following parts : Flat Washer 10mm, Brace Left, Brace Right, Hex Nut M10, Lock Washer 10mm, and Hex Head Bolt M10x30.
2. Secure the Braces in Frame with Bolts as shown in Figure 4.

Step 3: Placing Seed Disc and Distribution Disc

1. Place the Retainer Bushing in the Hopper and secure it firmly (Figure 5).
2. Place the Seed Disc and Distribution Disc over the Hopper as shown in Figure 6.
3. Place Flat Washer and secure with Snap Ring (Figure 7).

Step 4: Creating a Base and Installing the Hopper

1. Using pieces of wood (not included), create a base leveled at the same height as the Guard for easy installation (Figure 8).
2. Note the position of hopper openings in relation to the front of the spreader (Figure 9).
3. Place the Hopper over Frame (Figure 10).
4. Connect Rod Selector to Seed Disc, secure with Hair Pin (Figure 11).
5. Connect Flow Adjustment Rod to Distribution Disc. Secure with Hair Pin (Figure 12).

Step 5: Installing Agitator and Securing the Hopper

1. Collect the following parts: Agitator, Nylon Washer, Hex Head Bolt M8x45, and Lock Nut M8.
2. Install the Agitator in the Hopper and secure it with Bolt and Lock Nuts as shown in Figure 13.
3. Collect the following parts: Hex Nut M10, Bolt Carriage M10x25, Flat Washer 10.5mm, and Lock Washer.
4. Level Hopper and drill 5 orifices to attach the Frame and Braces according to Figures 14 and 17.
5. Secure the Hopper with the hardware as shown in Figure 15.
6. Drill the remaining 4 holes in both sides of the Hopper according to Braces. Secure with hardware to Hopper Reinforcement Bar (See Figures 16 and 17).
