Warning
- Correct installation is extremely essential and falls outside the scope of responsibility of Vogel. Read this manual carefully before installation and use.
- Maximum weight of LCD/plasma screen: EFTE 2240 RC: 30 kg / 66 lbs, EFTE 2265 RC: 70 kg / 154 lbs, EFFE 1140 RC: 45 kg / 96 lbs.
- During installation please also follow the instructions for installation and use of the apparatus to be installed/fixed (for example the LCD/plasma screen).
- Store and operate this device in a clean, dry and temperate environment (between 0 en 40 degrees Celcius)
- No obstacle should hinder the movement of this device or the attached screen; provide for the necessary clearance space around this device and the attached screen. Always ensure children are at a safe distance.
- The sound level of this device during operation does not exceed 70 dB(A)
- Do not operate this device continuously; max. The 1-minute continuous operation followed by 9 minutes rest.
Troubleshooting
- In case the device does not respond to the remote : (1) check all connections of the power supply cables, (2) check to ensure the remote control battery is in working order, (3) if the problem persists contact your dealer
- In case the auto-center function forward/reverse does not function properly : (1) lift the mounting bar (part N) together with the screen from the column (part P), (2) press auto-centering on the remote control forward/reverse, (3) wait for the motor to stop, (4) place the mounting bar back in the column, (5) rotate the screen manually until you hear a click (you should feel resistance now), (6) the auto center function should now function properly.

Guarantee terms and conditions
Congratulations on the purchase of this Vogel’s product! The product you now
have in your possession is made of durable materials and is based on a design,
every detail of which has been meticu-lously thought-out. That is why Vogel’s
gives you a 5-year guarantee for defects in materials or manufacturing. The
guarantee is limited to 2 years for the motorized modules, electronic boards,
and remote control (the battery is not covered by a guarantee).
- Vogel’s guarantees that if during the guarantee period of a product, faults arise due to defects in manufacturing and/or materials, it will, at its discretion, repair or if necessary replace the product, free of cost. A guarantee for normal wear and tear is hereby expressly excluded.
- If the guarantee is invoked, the product should be sent to Vogel’s together with the original purchase document (invoice, sales slip, or cash receipt). The purchase document should clearly show the name of the supplier and the date of purchase.
- Vogel’s guarantee shall lapse in the following cases:
If the product has not been installed and used in accordance with the Instructions for use;
If the product has been altered or repaired by someone other than Vogel’s; • If a fault arises due to external causes (outside the product) such as for ex- ample lightning, water nuisance, fire, scuffing, exposure to extreme temper- atures, weather conditions, solvents or acids, wrong use or negligence;
If the product is used for different equipment than is mentioned on or in the packing.
