Wrap all male fittings with 5 – 6 turns of thread seal tape if white, only 3 – 4 turns if pink or blue tape.

Install the following parts with their arrows pointing in the direction of the flow:
♦ Check valve
♦ High-temp filter
♦ Pressure regulator -
Thread the head of the Tee onto the ¾” close nipple on the outlet of the Dosatron. Next, install the WHA into the top open end (shoulder) of the Tee. See illustration.
The WHA needs to be installed so that it absorbs the shock wave travelling
back to the source of water. If Installed in any other orientation the WHA
will not protect your Dosatron from the effects of water hammer, and can leave
you susceptible to possible damage of your equipment and other plumbing.

When connecting a DOSATRON either to the public water supply or to its own water source, you must respect the regulations in force concerning protection of the source i.e. backflow prevention, etc.
