Product Information
- The GEN-2 Key Pad / Control Panel is a wireless remote control device that is designed to work with wireless remote motors and autostop motors. The key pad has a ready light, blue light, and status light that indicate the device’s current state. It also has a lock/unlock button that allows you to lock or unlock the key pad.
- The key pad for wireless remote motors has a solid green readylight when plugged in. The blue light will blink until you pair a phone with it. When paired, the blue light will stay solid. Pressing any button on the key pad will cause the status light to blink red. The key pad will go into sleep mode after a set amount of time, but you can take it out of sleep mode by simply pressing any button and letting go. If there are any issues with the key pad, you can unplug the unit from power for 2 minutes to reset it.
- The key pad for autostop motors has a blinking green ready light when plugged in, unless you have already set up the Autostop. The blue light will blink until you pair a phone with it. When paired, the blue light will stay solid. Pressing any button on the key pad will cause the status light to blink red. Once you have set both autostop limits, the green ready light will stay solid. To set limits on an autostop motor, refer to the Autostop instruction guide. The key pad will also go into sleep mode after a set amount of time, but you can take it out of sleep mode by simply pressing any button and letting go. Product Usage Instructions
To use the GEN-2 Key Pad / Control Panel, follow the instructions below:
- Plug in the motor and wait for the ready light to turn on.
- If using a wireless remote motor, pair a phone with the key pad by waiting for the blue light to stop blinking and stay solid. If using an autostop motor, refer to the Autostop instruction guide to set the limits.
- Press any button on the key pad to activate the motor. The status light will blink red to indicate that the key pad has received the command.
- To lock the key pad, hold down the lock/unlock button until the ready and status lights start blinking together. This should take about 10-15 seconds. To unlock the key pad, hold down the lock/unlock button until the ready and status lights stop blinking.
- If you need to take the key pad out of sleep mode, simply press any button and let go of it.
- If you encounter any issues with the key pad, unplug the unit from power for 2 minutes to reset it.
Note : When the key pad is locked, remote controls will not work, but Bluetooth will still work. If you press any button and the status and ready lights blink, this means that the key pad is locked. The blue light will blink unless a phone is paired, in which case the blue light will be solid.
KEY PAD FOR WIRELESS REMOTE MOTORS ONLY
When you plug the motor in the ready light will be a solid green. The blue
light will continue to blink until you pair a phone with it. When a phone is
paired to the unit, the blue light will stay solid. When you press any button
on the key pad the status light will blink red.
After a set amount of time, the key pad will go into a sleep mode. Simply
press any button and let go to take it out of sleep mode.
If there are any issues, unplug the unit from power for 2 minutes to reset it.
KEY PAD FOR AUTOSTOP MOTORS ONLY
Will say Autostop
When you plug the motor in the ready light should be a blinking green. (Unless
you already set up the Autostop) The blue light will continue to blink until
you pair a phone with it. When a phone is paired to the unit, the blue light
will stay solid. When you press any button on the key pad the status light
will blink red. When you have both autostop limits set, the green-ready light
will stay solid. To set limits on an autostop motor, please refer to the
Autostop instruction guide.
After a set amount of time, the keypad will go into a sleep mode. Simply press
any button and let go to take it out of sleep mode.
If there are any issues, unplug the unit from power for 2 minutes to reset it.
LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE KEYPAD
Same on all motors
Hold the lock/unlock button until the ready and status light start blinking
together (10-15 seconds) to lock the keypad. Hold it again until the ready and
status light stop blinking to unlock the keypad. When the keypad is locked the
lights will blink for a set amount of time and then stop. Remote controls will
not work when the keypad is locked. Bluetooth will still work.
If you press any button and the status and ready light blink this means the
keypad is locked. The blue light will blink unless a phone is paired. Then the
blue light will be solid.
