Product Usage Instructions
- Follow the technical instructions provided with the product.
- The CAS-HV accumulation tank is designed to store energy from heat pumps. Connect the tank to the heat pump system as per the instructions provided.
- The tank comes without thermal insulation for ease of transport and installation. Install the thermal insulation provided in the package before use.
- The tank comes with connections for up to four thermometers. Install and use thermometers as per the instructions provided.
- The tank comes with a water flow regulator and a sensor holder. Install and use them as per the instructions provided.
- Ensure that the maximum working pressure and minimum working temperature of the product are not exceeded.
- Ensure that the product is maintained as per the instructions provided to guarantee its smooth and economical operation.

USE
Accumulation tanks CAS-HV are intended for accumulation of energy from heat pumps and provide more economical and efficient operation of the system in which they are installed.
STATUS AT DELIVERY
- CAS-HV are not supplied with built-in thermal insulation but separately as follows:
- the body of the accumulation tank on a wooden pallet (the body of the accumulation tank 3003, 4003 and 5003 does not come on a wooden pallet)
- thermal insulation packed in a protective PVC foil
- plastic protection (13 pcs.)

The minimum operating temperature refers to a mixture of water and glycol.
SENSOR INSTALLATION
Insert the temperature sensor(s) under the sensor holder at the height where you want the sensor to measure the accumulation tank temperature.
FLOW RESISTANCE CAS-HV
INSTALLATION
Accumulation tanks CAS-HV are delivered on a wooden pallet. Before placing the accumulation tank in the boiler room it needs to be removed from the wooden pallet. Installation and assembly of accumulation tank and installation of additional equipment on the tank must be performed by a qualified person. Accumulation tank need to be placed on a horizontal solid foundation for the anticipated load that causes the full weight of the accumulation tank. Boiler room must be protected from freezing. Accumulation tank has to be positioned so that it can be properly connected and simultaneously, enabling tending of accumulation tank control during operation. For mounting of thermal insulation on the accumulation tank see ‘’Technical instructions for installation of thermal insulation and jacket for accumulation tank CAS-HV’’ which are delivered with thermal insulation of the tank. The accumulation tank label is in the plastic bag along with the technical documentation. The label must be placed to the bottom of the accumulation tank body after the mounting the thermal insulation (see Figure 2).
INSTALLATION OF THE ACCUMULATION TANK TO CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM
- Connection of the accumulation tank to central heating/cooling system should be done by recommendation and schematic drawing from heat pump (heat source) manufacturer, according to this technical manual and good technical practice. If the thermometers (additional equipment) will not be installed, it is necessary to seal the connections for the thermometers in a watertight manner.

- The accumulation tank label is in the plastic bag along with the technical documentation. The label must be placed to the bottom of the accumulation tank body after the mounting the thermal insulation (see Figure 2).

- It is necessary to perform (check, if you have already performed) all actions in accordance with points
9.0. these instructions.
- Max. working pressure in the accumulation tank connected to the installation of central heating/cooling must be limited with built in safety valve with max. openning pressure 3 bar.
STARTUP
- The water accumulation tank CAS-HV has to be cleaned as needed, by discharging the accumulation tank.
USE, CLEANING, AND MAINTENANCE
CHARACTERISTICS OF ACCUMULATION TANKS CAS-HV
- They are manufactured from certificated metal sheets in compliance with ISO 9001/2015.
- They are very good thermally insulated with Armaflex insulation with a vapor barrier (25 mm).
- The tank is painted with Zink paint.
- It is possible to connect the tanks mutually in order to increase the total accumulation of the system.
