Input and audio controls
-
INPUT (Front e Rear): This input should receive the signal through an RCA cable that is properly connected to the RCA output of the Radio/MP3 Player. Entries are divided into REAR (rear channels) and FRONT (front channels). We recommend RCA cables with STETSOM triple shielding.
-
LEVEL (Volume control): Responsible for controlling the level of the input signal. The left regulator controls the REAR input and the right regulator controls the FRONT. They provide proper adjustment for any Radio/MP3 Player.
-
BASS BOOST: Reinforces the bass level at low frequencies 25Hz to 110 Hz. From 0 to + 20dB centered on 45Hz.
-
CROSSOVER (SLIDE SWITCH L.P.F./ FLAT / H.P.F): This switch allows you to select that type of CROSSOVER will be used for the channels, with the left regulator for the REAR input and the right for the FRONT input.
The switch has three positions:
L.P.F: In this position, the LOW-PASS filter that reproduces low frequencies (below 90Hz) will be activated;
FLAT: In this position, the channel will be operating in FULL-RANGE and all the frequencies present in the audio will be reproduced;
H.P.F: In this position, the HIGH-PASS filter that reproduces the high frequencies (above 90Hz) will be activated. -
COOLER: It provides cooling of the amplifier. Install in a cool place without obstruction of air inlets and outlets.
-
FREQUENCY: Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the Crossover. The adjusted frequency acts on both H.P.F and L.P.F., depending on which is selected.
Tips for adjusting the input signal:
- On the Radio/MP3 Player, turn on any musical signal and set the volume to 80% of the maximum. For example: if the maximum volume of the Radio/MP3 player is 45 (100%), set to 36 (80%).
- On the amplifier, put the LEVEL at the lowest setting and increase gradually until you notice the sound distorting.
- Slowly lower the LEVEL until you no longer hear distortion in the sound.
