GENERAL NOTES
TYPES – 4 VERSIONS ARE AVAILABLE: NORMAL (V.01), WITH CODE FOR USE AND EMERGENCY CODE (V.02), WITH TIME DELAY (V.03), FOR ENTRANCE DOORS (V.04). IN ORDER TO KNOW WHICH INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW, VERIFY THE SET VERSION : digit (ON/C), 12, (E) : THE NUMBER OF ACOUSTIC SIGNALS YOU HEAR NOW, REVEALS WHICH IS THE VERSION.
SELF SWITCHING-OFF – The electronic system is provided with an alphanumeric keyboard and it switches off by itself. The key (ON/C) does switch it on again and it can be used also for cancelling eventual digitation mistakes.
EXTERNAL EMERGENCY SUPPLY (and Reset) – In case internal batteries get exhausted with closed safe, keep the 2 poles of a 9V-battery leaned in connection with the ones of the keyboard.
OK lights-up. Enter the opening input; the lock opens. Don’t remove the emergency supply until the operation and the signal-lights are finished . This contact on the 2 poles (until the first OK), works as a Reset and it can also restore the lock’s use after an accidental block caused by strong external ambient perturbations.
BATTERY – Use JUST ALKALINE batteries and of following types:
– one 6LR61 9V-battery (to be substituted once a year). In case this type is utilized, it is suggested to choose batteries of well-known quality (i.e. Duracell, Varta, Energizer, Mazda, etc).
– six LR6 1,5V-batteries (to be substituted once every two years). In this case a battery-holder can be supplied on demand.
LOW BATTERY SIGNAL – In case ERROR blinks by itself for 7 times, and in close sequence, the battery is quite exausted.
COMBINATION – More than 100 millions of different combinations can be set. It is recommended not to maintain the Factory-code.
ANTIMANIPULATION SHUTDOWN – In order to avoid a quick search of the opening-code by malicious persons, after three consecutive opening attempts with the wrong code, the keyboard gets stuck for 5 minutes long. During this time ERROR blinks every 8 sec. An acoustic signal advises when you can act again.
ANTIMANIPULATION WARNING – After having pressed ON/C, in case you hear a DOUBLE acoustic signal, that means at least one opening attempt with the wrong code has been tried.
OBSTACLES – If an obstacle hinders the closing, ERROR lights-up and the lock opens again.
ZERO SETTING OF THE COMBINATION – If the door is open and the combination has been forgotten, it can be set back to 0000. Ask for instructions.

TYPE 01 – NORMAL

A) HOW TO OPEN :
Press (ON), digit the Opening code (initially 0000) and press (E). If after having pressed (ON) ERROR blinks, the battery is exhausted. You can however proceed, but change it as soon as possible.
B) HOW TO CLOSE : Press (E).
C) HOW TO CHANGE THE OPENING CODE BY OPEN DOOR, BOLTS OUTSIDE (closed lock).

Open (as per point A). OK will light up continuously for 6 sec.
Before OK switches off, press (ON) and KEEP PRESSED until OK blinks, while it is blinking :
Digit the New code (from 3 to 8 digits) and press (E).
Once again, for confirmation: digit the New code, (E). OK lights up.
Before closing the door, please check the New Code (close and open).

TYPE 02 – WITH CODE FOR USE & EMERGENCY CODE (MASTER)

Each safe can be opened by the Code for Use (from 3 to 8 digits, 0000 initially) or by the Emergency Code (MASTER) (9 digits, 000.000.000 initially), by which it is possible to open the safe independently from the Code for Use. Each user can easily memorize both the Code for Use and the Emergency-code. Pay Attention: each time you open by the Emergency-Code, the Code for Use is set to zero (0000). IT IS IMPORTANT to change both the two codes and memorize different combinations from the ones of the Factory.
A) HOW TO OPEN: (both with the Code for Use and the Emergency-Code: Press (ON), digit the Code, press (E).
B) HOW TO CLOSE: Press (E) .
C) HOW TO MEMORIZE THE CODE FOR USE: by open lock.

KEEP PRESSED (ON) UNTIL OK blinks, while it is blinking :
Digit the PERSONAL CODE (from 3 to 8 digits) and PRESS (E).
Repeat for confirmation: Code for Use, (E) .

D) HOW TO CHANGE THE EMERGENCY-CODE (MASTER) Start by closed lock.

Open (ON), Emergency-Code, (E). OK will light up continuously for 6 sec.
Before OK switches off, press (ON) and KEEP PRESSED until OK blinks, while it is blinking :
Digit the new Emergency-Code (9 digits), and press (E).
Repeat for confirmation: New Emergency-Code, (E).
In case of error, the previous code remains memorized.
PAY ATTENTION not to make a mistake, the Emergency Code cannot be set to zero.
Before closing the door, verify the new code(close and open).

TYPE 03 : WITH TIME DELAY

THE SAFE CAN BE OPENED ONLY AFTER A PROGRAMMABLE TIME DELAY FROM 00 TO 99 MINUTES.
It is supplied with 1 minute time delay.
A) HOW TO OPEN

Press (ON), digit the opening code (initially 0000) and press (E).
If after having pressed (ON), ERROR blinks, the battery is exhausted; you can however proceed, but change it as soon as possible. If the set time delay is 00 the lock opens, on the contrary the system is blocked during all the time delay and OK blinks every 16 sec.
When the time delay is expired, OK blinks quickly 5 times and you can proceed. Within 5 minutes, enter the code once again. Digit (ON), Code, (E). During these 5 minutes OK blinks every 8 sec.

B) HOW TO CLOSE Press (E).
C) HOW TO CHANGE THE OPENING CODE BY OPEN DOOR, BOLTS OUTSIDE (closed lock).

Open (as per point A). OK will light up continuously for 6 sec.
Before OK switches off, press (ON) and KEEP PRESSED until OK blinks, while it is blinking :
Digit the New Code (from 3 to 8 digits) and press (E).
Once again, for confirmation: digit the New Code, (E). OK lights up.
Before closing the door, please check the new cod (close and open).

D) HOW TO SET TIME DELAY
BY OPEN DOOR, BOLTS OUTSIDE (closed lock).

Open (as per point A). OK will light up continuously for 6 sec.
Before OK switches off, press (ON) and KEEP PRESSED. until OK blinks, while it is blinking :
Press (E), digit 00 and then the desired time delay ( always 2 digits: 00..99 ), and press (E).
The 2 digits from 00 to 99 point out the time delay’s minutes.
