AXING SVS 1-00 Basic line SAT Wideband Amplifier
Product Information
The SVS 1-00 is a basic-line wideband amplifier designed for distributing radio and television signals in the house. It has a frequency range of 47 to 2200 MHz, a gain of 18 to 25 dB, and an attenuator adjustment range of 0 to 20 dB. The output has a maximum output level of 8 dB with a noise figure. The amplifier uses F-female RF connectors and requires a 230 V~ / 50 Hz power source.
Product Usage Instructions
Field of Application:
The SVS 1-00 amplifier is suited only for distributing radio and television
signals in the house. Do not use the device for other purposes as it will void
the warranty.
The illustrations show application examples of the amplification of SAT
signals (1) respc. the amplification of combined signals of a terrestrial and
a Satellite antenna (2).
Equipotential Bonding and Mounting:
- Connect the device to the equipotential bonding according to EN 60728-11 to avoid dangerous overvoltages.
- Use the equipotential bonding connection attached to the device.
- To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential bonding, use earth connection blocks CFA 7-01 at the input and output of the amplifier.
- Mount the device on a flat surface using the mounting screws included in the delivery and the mounting holes of the device.
RF Installation:
- Connect your LNB either directly to the amplifier input or via a combiner.
- Connect the output of the amplifier to the antenna sockets or taps used.
- Use a highly shielded coaxial cable with an F connector. Suitable cables and plugs can be found in the current AXING catalogue or at www.axing.com.
Level Adjustment:
Adjust the input level with the attenuator provided.
