Product Usage Instructions
To match the hour strike count with the position of the hour hand, follow the procedures below:
- Remove both batteries.
- Using the handset knob, set the hands to 5:50. AM or PM is not important until Step 4.
- Install alkaline batteries.
- Using the handset knob, rotate hands forward (clockwise) from 5:50AM to the current time.
To adjust for daylight savings time change:
- SPRING: Rotate hands forward (clockwise) one hour.
- FALL: Follow the 4-step instructions above for REPLACING BATTERIES.
If the hour strike count does not match the hour hand position, follow the 4-step instructions above for replacing batteries.

REPLACING BATTERIES (follow steps in order)
- Remove both batteries.
- Using the handset knob, set the hands to 5:50. AM or PM is not important until Step 4.
- Install alkaline batteries.
- Using the handset knob, rotate your hands forward (clockwise) from 5:50 AM to the current time.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE
SPRING: Rotate hands forward (clockwise) for one hour.
FALL: Follow the 4-step instructions above for REPLACING BATTERIES.
HOUR STRIKE COUNT DOES NOT MATCH THE HOUR HAND POSITION
