Product Information

The TINAD is a refrigerator that comes with a freezer compartment. It has a fan, two glass shelves, a bottle rack, a crisper cover, a sliding crisper bin, a crisper for vegetable components, a control panel with LED light, a dairy bal cony with lid, a bottle holder with dividers, a bottle balcony, and three drawers in the freezer compartment. The appliance has preset ideal storage temperatures for food. The control panel has a button for temperature regulation and a Stand-by function. The Fast Cooling function helps in quickly cooling the refrigerator compartment or freezer compartment before putting in a large quantity of food. The appliance must be handled and installed by at least two persons.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the user handbook carefully before using the appliance.
  2. Wait at least two hours after installation before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
  3. Connect the appliance to the power supply to start the operation automatically.
  4. Wait for 4-6 hours after turning on the appliance for the correct storage temperature to be reached for a normally filled appliance.
  5. Use the button for temperature regulation and the Stand-by function to set the temperature for the refrigerator compartment.
  6. Press the C button for 3 seconds to deactivate the appliance. Press the button again briefly to reactivate it. Note that this operation does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
  7. To quickly cool the refrigerator compartment or freezer compartment before putting in a large quantity of food, turn on the Fast Cooling function by repeatedly pressing the button C until the 3 icons flash green and then stay constant. The function automatically turns off after 30 hours and the temperature returns to the previous setting when the function is turned on.
  8. Refer to the recommended setting (Intermediate) and storage times found in the user manual to avoid food waste.
  9. Handle and install the appliance with at least two persons, using protective gloves to unpack and install to avoid the risk of injury.
  10. Be careful not to damage the floors when moving the appliance.
  11. Install the appliance on a floor or support strong enough to take its weight and in a place suitable for its size and use.
  12. Make sure the appliance is not near a heat source and that the four feet are stable and resting on the floor, adjusting them as required, and check that the appliance is perfectly level using a spirit level.

First-time use

  • Wait at least two hours, after the installation, before connecting the appliance to the power supply. Connect the appliance to the power supply it starts the operation automatically. The ideal storage temperatures for the food are preset in the factory. After turning the appliance on, you must wait for 4-6 hours for the correct storage temperature to be reached for a normally filled appliance.

Functions

Fan

  • The fan is pre-set to ON. You can turn the fan on/off by pressing the light button (as shown in the figure below at step 2) and at the same time the button C as shown in figure 3.
  • The light will flash just once if the fan is OFF, or it will flash below at step 3 times if the fan is ON. If the ambient temperature exceeds 27°C, or if drops of water are present on the glass shelves, it is essential to have the fan on to ensure the proper preservation of the food. Deactivation of the fan allows energy consumption to be optimized.

Stand-by

  • Press the C button for 3 seconds to deactivate the appliance (the control panel and lights remain off). Press the button again briefly to reactivate the appliance.
  • Note: This operation does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
  • Note: the ambient temperature, frequency of door opening and position of the appliance can affect the temperature inside the two compartments.
  • These factors must be taken into account when setting the thermostat.

Fast Cooling function (Fast Cooling)

  • To quickly cool the refrigerator compartment, or 6 hours before putting a large quantity of food to be frozen in the freezer compartment, turn on the “Fast Cooling” function by repeatedly pressing the button C until the 3 icons flash green and then stay constant.
  • The function automatically turns off after 30 hours and the temperature returns to the previous setting when the function is turned on.
  • To avoid food waste, please refer to the recommended setting (Intermediate), and storage times found in the user manual.

Installation

  • The appliance must be handled and installed by two or more persons – risk of injury. Use protective gloves to unpack and install – risk of cuts.

  • Installation, including water supply (if any), electrical connections and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician. Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically stated in the user manual. Keep children away from the installation site. After unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been damaged during transport. In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your nearest Aftersales Service. Once installed, packaging waste (plastic, styrofoam parts etc.) must be stored out of reach of children – risk of suffocation. The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before any installation operation – risk of electric shock.

  • During installation, make sure the appliance does not damage the power cable – risk of fire or electric shock. Only activate the appliance when the installation has been completed.

  • Be careful not to damage the floors (e.g. parquet) when moving the appliance. Install the appliance on a floor or support strong enough to take its weight and in a place suitable for its size and use. Make sure the appliance is not near a heat

  • To guarantee adequate ventilation, leave a space on both sides and above the appliance. The distance between the rear of the appliance and the wall behind the appliance should be 50 mm, to avoid access to hot surfaces. A reduction of this space will increase the Energy consumption of product. General information

The drawers, baskets and shelves should be kept in their current position unless otherwise specified in this quick guide. The light system inside the refrigerator compartment uses LED lights, allowing for better lighting than with traditional light bulbs, as well as for very low energy consumption. Doors and lids of the refrigeration appliance should be removed before disposal in the landfill, to avoid children or animals getting trapped inside. This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class G.
