ATTENTION
Please review these instructions carefully before using this container
- For use in supervised and controlled areas
- Please check that container has not been damaged before placing into use.
- Never hold sharps container below recommended fill line.
- Examine autoclaved parts before handling.
- If container is dropped, inspect container for damage before handling.
- Do not fill sharps container above recommended fill line.
- For single use only.
- Not made with natural rubber latex.
- Designed to comply with heavy metal limits as listed in RoHS/Directive on the Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (2002/95/EC).
- Safe for incineration.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-
To assemble
a. Align front of lid (lid opening) to front of base (biohazard label).
b. Align tabs to holes in base. If they do not align, make sure lid and base are both facing forward.
c. Press lid to base until all tabs snap into slots and are secure. -
To mount in bracket
NOTE : This container must be wall-mounted during use.
Mount on wall using wall mounting bracket #423 000 (non-locking) or #425 000 (locking). Gently slide container down into bracket. -
To use
a. Using one hand, drop syringe horizontally into opening.
b. Check fill level regularly. Replace container when fill level is reached.
4. Temporary & final closure a. Keep lid down when not in use.
b. When full, insert tabs on lid into slots and press down firmly.
c. Remove container from bracket. -
Disposal
Dispose of container according to facility policy. May be autoclaved or incinerated
