Overview

10-Port Gigabit SFP Fiber Switch with 2 x RJ-45 port, Ether-8GF Air Live Ether-8GF is an unmanaged 10-port Gigabit Fiber switch including 8 SFP ports and 2 RJ-45 Ports. The switch is for connecting multiple Fiber connections together in one small sized switch. To cover a longer distance the Fiber ports can reach a
distance such as 500meter or 20KM depending on the SPF module used with the Switch.

Power On Switch

Power On the Ether-8GF, The Switch is powered by an AC/DC power adapter which is connected to the backside of the switch. Please use the adapter which came with the switch to power it on.

LED Information

  • PWR LED: ON, Switch is Working normal. OFF, Switch is Powered off.
  • Link LED: ON, Link is ok. Blinking: The Link Port is receiving/sending data.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connect the AC/DC power adapter which came with the switch to the backside of the switch to power it on.
  2. Connect your Fiber connections to any of the 8 SFP ports or connect Ethernet devices to the 2 RJ-45 Ports.
  3. Ensure that the PWR LED is ON, indicating that the switch is working normally.
  4. To check if the link is ok, check if the Link LED is ON. If it is blinking, it means that the Link Port is receiving/sending data.
