Product Information

The CRV115TAST is a 115 Can Beverage Cooler with Mechanical Control. It features a See Through Glass Door, Stainless Steel Door Frame, Interior LED Light, Spill Proof Glass Shelves, Reversible Door, and Adjustable Legs. The product has a voltage of 115V~/60Hz and measures 18.9×17.3×33.1in. It comes in Stainless Steel color.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Place the CRV115TAST on a flat surface in a well-ventilated room.
  2. Plug the product into a power outlet with the appropriate voltage and frequency.
  3. Use the Mechanical Control to set the desired temperature for the beverages.
  4. Load the beverages into the cooler, making sure to place them on the Spill Proof Glass Shelves.
  5. If needed, adjust the height of the Adjustable Legs to level the product.
  6. The Interior LED Light will turn on automatically when you open the See Through Glass Door.
  7. If you need to reverse the door, follow the instructions in the product manual.

Electricity related warnings

  • Do not pull the power cord when pulling the power plug of the beverage cooler . Please firmly grasp the plug and pull out it from the socket directly.
  • Do not damage the power cord under any condition so as to ensure safety use, do not use when the power cord is damaged or the plug is worn.
  • Worn or damaged power cord shall be replaced in manufacturer-authorized maintenance stations.
  • The power cord should be firmly contacted with the socket or else fires might be caused. Please ensure that the grounding electrode of the power socket is equipped with a reliable grounding line.
  • Please turn off the valve of the leaking gas and then open the doors and windows in case of leakage of gas and other flammable gases. Do not unplug the cooler and other electrical appliances considering that spark may cause a fire.
  • To ensure safely, ii is not recommended that to place socket, regulators, rice cookers, microwave ovens and other appliances at the top of the beverage cooler, those recommended by the manufacturer are not included. Do not use electrical appliances in the food pantry.

  • Do not place heavy objects on the top of the cooler considering that objects may fall when open or close the door, and accidental injuries might be caused.
  • Please pull out of the plug in case of power failure or cleaning. Do not connect the cooler to power supply within five minutes to prevent damages to the compressor due to successive starts.

Temperature Control

After power-on the beverage cooler, it is able to turn the temperature controlling knob to set the temperature level. “Cold” is the warmest setting, “Colder” is the coldest setting, “OFF” means stop running.
The setting range of centigrade temperature is 1 ‘C-1 O’C and the setting range of Fahrenheit temperature is 33″F~50°F.

Placement
  • Before using the cooler, remove all packaging materials including bottom cushions and foam pads and tapes inside the cooler, tear off the protective film on the door and the cooler body.
  • The cooler is placed in a well­ ventilated indoor place; the ground shall be flat, and sturdy (rotate left or right to adjust the leg for levelling if unstable).
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources such as stove, heating radiator, etc. If the cooler has to be put next to heat source, a suitable insulation board shall be applied or keep the cooler away from heat source.
  • The top space of the cooler shall be greater than 30cm.and the distances from both sides and backside shall be more than 10cm to facilitate heat dissipation.
Start to use
  • The cooler shall stay for half an hour before connecting power when it is firstly started.
  • Clean up the inner chamber before put into use for first lime .
  • Do not connect cooler to electronic energy saving plug and converter that can convert DC into AC (E.g.: solar energy system, ship grid).
  • Water drop or frost will be generated on backside of beverage cooler when compressor is running, which is decided by function of cooler. wiping out frost or water drop is not needed as the back will wipe them out automatically. The defrosted water will be collected into drain tank, then inflow into water disposal pan above the compressor and vaporized.

The arrangement of bottle
Do not let bottle touch the cooler’s back in order to maintain good air circulation in the cooler.
The bottle number may be different from bottles in different shape and size. Oversized bottle may have impact on the number of bottle storage in the beverage cabinet.
Usage of temperature zones inside the beverage cooler
Due to different temperature zones generated due to air circulation in the cooler, the upper area’s temperature is higher than the lower area.
Energy saving tips

  • The Cooler shall be placed in room dry and ventilated. The cooler cannot be put under direct sunlight or next to heat source ( such as radiator, stove, etc.), and a suitable insulation board shall be applied if necessary.
  • Try to shorten opening time of cooler’s door.
  • Put beverage into cooler after ii has cooled down.
Reversing the door swing
  1. Change the installation location of the upper hinge of the beverage cabinet, then the opening direction of the door could be changed at will. Please follow the following instructions for the change of the opening direction of the beverage cabinet’s door (for instance: from right-handed door to left-handed door): close the glass door of the beverage cabinet, use a blade to remove the rivet carefully, loose the mounting cover of the door hinge and three positioning bolts and remove the upper hinge.comfee CRV115TAST 115 Can Beverage Cooler 18

  2. Open the door of the beverage cabinet and detach the glass door of which with tremendous care.

  3. Dismantle the door axle sleeve at lower part of the glass door, door stopper block screws and door stopper, and fix them to left side.comfee CRV115TAST 115 Can Beverage Cooler 20

  4. Dismantle the adjustable foot, positioning bolts and lower hinge, then exchange the parts of right and left sides and later use the reverse method to install the adjustable foot, lower Hing and positioning bolts.comfee CRV115TAST 115 Can Beverage Cooler 21

  5. Put the aforesaid glass door on the lower hinge, and fix the upper hinge. Align the door with the cabinet and check the tightness of gasket, and then install all the ornaments.comfee CRV115TAST 115 Can Beverage Cooler 23

Maintenance of beverage cooler

Disconnect the cooler

Unplug power plug to disconnect the cooler.

Stop using the cooler

If the cooler left unused for a long lime, please:

  1. Unplug the cooler;
  2. Clean the cooler;
  3. Keep the cooler door open.
Clean the cooler
  1. Dusts behind the cooler and on the ground shall be timely cleaned to improve the cooling effect and energy saving.

  2. Check the door gasket regularly to make sure there are no debris.
    Clean the door gasket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.

  3. The interior of the cooler should be cleaned regularly to avoid odor.

  4. Please turn off the power before cleaning interior, remove all foods, drinks ,shelves, etc.

  5. Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the cooler, with two tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of warm water. Then rinse with water and wipe clean. After cleaning, open the door and let it dry naturally before turning on the power.

  6. For areas that are difficult to clean in the cooler (such as narrow sandwiches, gaps or corners), it is recommended to wipe them regularly with a soft rag, softbrush, etc. and when necessary. combined with some auxiliary tools (such as thin sticks) to ensure no contaminants or bacterial accumulation in these areas.

  7. Do not use soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, etc., as these may cause odors in the interior of the cooler or contaminated food.

  8. Clean the shelves with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
    Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.

  9. Wipe the outer surface of the cooler with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water, detergent, etc., and then wipe dry. Do not rub or scratch the surface of the glass door to prevent the door from being broken or scratched.

  10. Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives(such as toothpastes), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the cooler surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts.

  11. Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to avoid short circuits or affect electrical insulation after immersion.

Notice:
Do not use detergent and solvent with sand or acid.

Changing the Light
Any replacement or maintenance of the LED lamps is intended to be made by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified person.

Your product is manufactured and supported by Midea, warranty services must be obtained from Midea Consumer Services or an authorized Midea server.
Warranty

  • One year full warranty from original purchase date.

Midea, through its authorized servicers will:

  • Pay all costs for repairing or replacing parts of this appliance which prove to be defective in materials or workmanship.

Consumer will be responsible for:

  • Diagnostics, removal, transportation and reinstallation cost required because of service.
  • Costs of service calls that are a result of items listed under NORMAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSUMER**

Midea replacement parts shall be used and will be warranted only for the period remaining on the original warranty.
NORMAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSUMER**
This warranty applies only to products in ordinary household use, and the consumer is responsible for the items listed below:

  1. Proper use of the appliance in accordance with instructions provided with the product.

  2. Routine maintenance and cleaning necessary to keep in good working condition.

  3. Proper installation by an authorized service professional in accordance with instructions provided with the appliance and in
    accordance with all local plumbing, electrical and / or gas codes.

  4. Proper connection to a grounded power supply of sufficient voltage, replacement of blown fuses, repair of loosened connections or defects in house wiring.

  5. Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing.

  6. Damages to finish after installation.

EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Failure caused by damage to the unit while in your possession (other than damage caused by defect or malfunction), by its
    improper installation, or by unreasonable use of the product, including without limitation, failure to provide reasonable and
    necessary maintenance or to follow the written Installation and Operating Instructions.

  2. Products purchased “as-is” or refurbished are not covered by this warranty.

  3. Food loss caused by refrigerator or freezer failure.

  4. Service calls to repair or replace consumables such as water filters, light bulbs, air filters, etc., or handles, knobs and other cosmetic parts.

  5. Product that has been transferred from its original owner.

  6. Interior or exterior rust on the unit.

  7. Damages caused by services performed by persons other than authorized Midea servicers; use of parts other than Midea replacement parts obtained from persons other than Midea customer service; or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply or acts of God.

  8. Service calls resulting from improper installation of your product.

  9. Service calls to instruct vou on the use of vour product.

  10. Surcharges including, but not limited to, any after hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges, or mileage expense for service calls to remote areas, including the state of Alaska.

  11. If the unit is put to commercial, business, rental, or other use or application other than for consumer use, we make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular use or purpose.

  12. Product that has been removed outside the USA or Canada.

  13. Products without original serial numbers or products that have serial numbers which have been altered or cannot be readily determined.
    Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
