X-pointer has 2 models of ‘laser pointer’ and ‘image pointer’, XPG300YN models provide not only the world’s best green laser on a general projector screen but also support perfect pointing functions on all kinds of screens, including LCDs. Especially, users can uniquely display their presentations with the Image Pointer function.
X-pointer can be used Tor a variety of occasions, like presentations, speeches, and classes by drawing lines, figures on the screen and controlling PCs functions.

Image Pointer Program Manual

Installation

1) Hardware installation

  1. LED of the receiver will be flickering after the receiver is inserted in to the USB port.
  2. hen if you push one of the buttons b, c ,d ,e for 3 seconds, flickering LED is stopped and that is connected.
  3. If mouse cursor moves by touching your finger on the button d , It is connected.
  4. If LED stopped flickering, it is completed to ready to use.
  5. If the function is not working, you can try to insert the receiver again.

2) Image Pointer software installation
The ImagePointer function can be used with additional software.
Please download the software through below website

  1. Please log-in on the website and download the program.
    (www.x-pointer.com->Support>Download->ImagePointerprogram)

  2. After unzipping the file, double-click the ‘Pointer Tile.

  3. Please insert the receiver into the USB port. (need to check connection status)
    *Reference : (1) Hardware installation

  4. If the receiver does not have any problem, User can use Image mouse pointing function as touching the upper button of the center

  5. Please click the upper button of the right side to change mode

  6. Please click bottom button of the right side; Image Pointer tray icon ( ) for a different mode

How to use

1) Image Pointer mode

  1. Please change the switch (a) to image mode on the backside of tne product like the picture
  2. The presentation file execution
  3. Start Slide Show
  4. Users can use buttons of Page up (e)/down (b).
  5. If (d) it is touched, the blue LED is showed on (f) and image pointing function starts.
  6. Please click on the upper right side for mode changes (4 modes).

2) Laser pointer mode

  1. Please change the switch (a) to Laser mode on the backside
  2. The presentation file execution
  3. Start slide show with click button (c) of the right upper side, Users can use buttons of Page up(e)/down(b).
  4. If (d) it is touched, a green LED is showed on (f) and the Laser Pointer function starts.
  • Do not check ‘laser’ directly with your eyes

3) How to charge the battery

  1. Charging battery: Red LED

Problem Shooting

1) The cursor is flowing or not controlled by the user on Image Pointer mode

  1. Please put the product down on the flat place like the desk or ground.
  2. Please press the button (b) & (e) at the same time for 3 seconds or more, a green LED will be flickering for 2-3 seconds.
  3. Calibration starts automatically.
  4. After calibration, if the user uses the image mouse pointing function, the moving pointer will be

2) Though the receiver (USB) is inserted into the PC, the button Is not working.

  1. Please insert the receiver into the USB port.
  2. If the receiver is connected to the PC, you can see the light flickering of the receiver.
  3. Please touch (d) and the receiver will snow the blue LED light.
  4. After that, if you do not touch (d) you cannot see the blue LED on the receiver.
