The Arzum Brew Mug Personal Filter Coffee Maker is an appliance designed for household use. It comes with a 750 W power and a 410 ml stainless steel travel mug. The appliance has a watertank, filter housing, and filter lid. It also has a power light and start button. The product is offered by Arzum to make life easier for you.

Product Usage Instructions
- Before first use, wait for about 30 seconds for the orange power light to go off by switching to OFF position automatically before adding water and using your appliance.
- Fill the watertank with water.
- Place the filter housing in the watertank.
- Add coffee grounds to the filter.
- Press the start button to activate the brewing process. The orange power light will turn on.
- Wait for the brewing process to complete. The appliance will automatically turn off and the orange power light will go off.
- Pour the coffee into the 410 ml stainless steel travel mug.
- Place the travel mug in the travel mug housing.

This appliance is intended to be used in household environment. Do not use the appliance for commercial or industrial purpose. Otherwise it will not be covered by warranty.
- Plug your appliance to a grounded socket. Do not use extension cords that supply improper current in order to prevent damage to your machine.
- Do not place the Arzum Filter Coffee Machine over or near direct heat sources such as stove, heating oven etc.
- Ensure that the appliance is placed on a firm and flat surface. Do not put it on the edge of a table or bench. Even a small impact may fall down your appliance. Do not forget that your Filter Coffee Machine is full of water.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or countertop or to contact other devices. Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your appliance. Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the filter coffee maker, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord. Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as falling down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service. Use original spare parts in your appliance. Please, unplug from outlet your appliance when your appliance not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down before cleaning the appliance. Avoid contact with steam to be ejected from spout when the water is boiling, and do not let children to use the appliance.
- Ensure that water tank and filter cap of your Arzum Filter Coffe Machine is closed before operating your appliance.
- NEVER immerse your appliance in water or any liquid; do not wash your appliance in dishwasher and do not use your appliance in bathroom or any other placeces with high humidity rate.
- NEVER put anything into the water tank other than water.
Never leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of your appliance in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no not operate your appliance before having it dried completely.
- NEVER put anything into the filter housing other than ground coffee.
- Be careful not to burn yourself due to the water or steam from the machine or inappropriate use of the machine.
- Heating level remains hot due to heat after use the appliance; NEVER touch it.
- Do not exceed final water level line indicated in water tank.
- NEVER open water tank and filter lid during coffee brewing process. Opening the lid during brewing may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- NEVER take travel mug from its housing before brewing process is finished. If you take travel mug during brewing from its housing, this may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- NEVER touch the water tank and filter lid during coffee brewing process and after the process as it will be heated. Touching the lid during brewing and just after it may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- Luminous indicator on button shows that filter coffee maker is working. It is normal that steam comes out from the device during the coffee brewing process.
- Wait for a few minutes for your machine to cool down before preparing your second coffee.

USE OF YOUR APPLIANCE
FIRST USE
ATTENTION : If the orange power light is ON when the appliance is first plugged in, wait for about 30 seconds for the power light to go off by switching to OFF position automatically before adding water and using your appliance.
WARNING :Arzum Brew Mug Personal Filter Coffee Maker start button is an activation switch operated thermally to start brewing. Pressing this button once again after brewing process is started does not turn your appliance off. Brewing process must be completed for the appliance to turn off. Orange power light will go off when brewing process is over and the appliance will automatically switch off. See instruction manual for brewing process. Before first use, operate your appliance 3 times with water only before putting coffee in it.
OPERATION
- Plug in the device.
- Open water tank and filter lid and pour fresh and clean water up to final water level line into the housing (14 oz ~ 410 ml).
- Add ground coffee into the filter. It is recommended to add 3 cups of fine ground coffee or 4 cups of normal ground coffee into the filter for preparing a travel mug coffee.
- Close the lid.
- Place into the housing with removed travel mug lid.
- Press start button. Coffee brewing process will start after power light on the side level.
- Once coffee brewing is completed, the power light will go off. Once this process is completed, you can take your travel mug from the housing as served in your filter coffee.
- Plug out your appliance when not in use.
Your stainless steel travel mug can keep your coffee hot up to 1 hours.
WARNINGS:
- Do not exceed final water level line indicated in water tank.
- NEVER open water tank and filter lid during coffee brewing process. Opening the lid during brewing may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- NEVER take travel mug from its housing before brewing process is finished. If you take travel mug during brewing from its housing, this may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- NEVER touch the water tank and filter lid during coffee brewing process and after the process as it will be heated. Touching the lid during brewing and just after it may cause burns and/or personal injury.
- Luminous indicator on button shows that filter coffee maker is working. It is normal that steam comes out from the device during the coffee brewing process.
- Wait for a few minutes for your machine to cool down before preparing your second coffee.
- Resulting brewed coffee will be 10% less than coffee filled water. Reason for this is that coffee grains absorb some amount of water.
CLEANING
- Shut down the main switch of your appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet and wait for your appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- You can manually wash travel mug, filter and filter housing of your Arzum Filter Coffee Machine. NEVER wash the other parts by means of plunging them into water or in the dishwasher.
- Discharge the water in water tank. It is recommended to use fresh water after each use.
- Do not clean any of the appliance accessories with harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc.)
SECURITY SYSTEM
- After the coffee has boiled, the appliance switches off automatically.
- Protection against operation without water: If your device accidentally is put into operation, then the fuse turns against operation without water and thereby the energy becomes automatic switched off. In such a case, take the plug of yours remove the device from the socket or from the mains and wait until it has cooled down completely.
LIME REMOVAL
If the water in your area is harsh, calcification in your machine will build up over time and calcification build-up will prevent proper operation of your appliance. Regular calcification removal procedure prolongs the life of your appliance and ensures optimal brewing results for a long time. For removing calcification of your appliance, apply the following steps:
While cleaning your appliance from calcification;
- Fill approximately one forth of travel mug with white vinegar and fill three fourth of the remaining with cold water.
- Pour water and vinegar mixture in travel mug into water tank.
- Place travel mug into travel mug housing with its lid opened.
- Press Start button.
During clean-up, more steam occurs than steam during coffee brewing process.
- Once dripping process of water vinegar solution into travel mug is finished, allow coffee maker to cool down and remove and rinse filter housing and filter.
- Repeat all these processes several times.
- Ensure that travel mug, filter housing and filter are washed with soap and thoroughly cooled down and cleaned up and allow for drying.
- Appliances not working due to calcification or appliances not properly working are out of warranty.

HANDLING AND SHIPMENT
- During handling and shipment, your appliance must be kept in original package in order to prevent damages to its parts.
- Keep at normal position during shipment.
- Do not drop the product when transporting and protect from impacts.
- After delivery of the product, failures and damages that may occur while transporting are not covered by warranty.
