INTRODUCTION

Use this remote control to replace your lost or broken Samsung remote to work your Samsung TV and sound bar (if applicable). Although the remote is designed to be paired to the TV, it also transmits IR. So, this remote control can also be used as an IR remote control to allow for limited functionality with TVs that have an IR remote control sensor. This remote control can also be used to control functions on a compatible Samsung soundbar if the soundbar is paired with the TV. The remote control will not control the soundbar if it is only connected to the TV with cables.

Note:
You can use the remote control up to 20 feet or more from the TV. The range may vary depending on the wireless environmental conditions.

Press and slide back cover off. Insert 2 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the positive and negative ends are facing in the correct direction. Close the rear cover again.

PAIRING YOUR REMOTE WITH YOUR SAMSUNG TV:
Before using your remote control, you need to pair it with your Samsung TV. After installing batteries, with the TV in standby mode, point the remote at the remote control sensor of the TV, and then press and hold the buttons labeled & simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.

BATTERY CAUTIONS

To prevent battery leakage damage, remove the batteries when drained or if the product will not be used for an extended period.
When installing batteries, make sure to align the +/- direction correctly.
Do not mix old and new, or different types, of batteries.
Dispose of used batteries following your local regulations.

Use a clean, soft cloth to clean. Do not use any corrosive cleaners/oils to clean.
Do not attempt to repair the device or open the unit as this will void the warranty.

Any customers outside of the U.S. will be responsible for shipping and handling charges if a replacement is required that is not due to a manufacturing defect. If there is not manufacturing defect, shipping, and handling will be applied.

Xtreme’s warranty is limited to our products only. Our warranty does not cover the replacement or repair cost of any third-party accessory, electronic device, or personal property.
