Precautions
- Avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive dusty or dirty locations, magnetic fields, extreme temperature or humidity, high humidity or moisture, strong vibrations or shocks to prevent deformation, discoloration or other serious damage.
- Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, slightly moisten the cloth. Do not use abrasive cleanser, cleaning alcohol, paint thinners, wax, solvents, cleaning fluids or chemical-impregnated wiping cloths.
Operations
- Do not toggle the switch or rotate the knob heavily.
- Do not let paper scraps, metal debris or other sundries fall inside the unit.
- Do not let the unit fall from a high level or push/strike the unit heavily.
Warnings
- If the battery emits a strange odor or makes a strange noise while charging, contact the manufacturer immediately for repair. Do not dismantle the unit manually.
- To avoid interference to biological or medical measurement devices, do not use the unit in a hospital.
- Purchase the unit from authorized local distributors to prevent legal risk of using the units sold to overseas area.
- The unit has different versions in different countries and areas. Different versions cannot match with each other. Purchase the unit from authorized distributors in your country or area.
- Do not modify the unit without authorization. For detailed information, contact MOOER support team.

Product Usage
Quick Tour
- Connect your GTRS guitar to amplifier or headphones. Set the output mode properly in the GTRS App – Setting – Global – Output Mode menu.
- Rotate the GTRS control knob clockwise to turn the guitar on. The knob LED will indicate on/off status.
- Press the GTRS control knob to switch between different preset tones.
- Rotate the GTRS knob to adjust the output volume level to your preference.
Instructions: GTRS App
The GTRS App functions as the editor software for the GTRS guitar. Users can easily select effects and create presets for the GTRS system, download and share tones to the cloud, and update the firmware of their GTRS guitar. Several tools for practice are included in the app as well.

Power Supply
- Please use a power supply that meets the requirements of local laws and regulations (UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
- Please use a power supply that can meet the power requirements of the manufacturer.
- Please unplug power supply while idle or during thunderstorm.
- Please do not expose the device with battery to exterme heat (avoid direct sunlight or fire)
- If the battery is broken and leaks, please do not expose your skin or eye to the contaminate.
- Please consult a doctor immediately in the event of exposure.
- The battery of the device could explode or cause chemical damage if it is handled incorrectly.
Location
- To avoid deformation, discoloration, or other serious damage, do not expose this unit to the following conditions:
- Direct sunlight
- Heat sources
- Excessive dusty or dirty locations
- Magnetic fields
- Extreme temperature or humidity
- High humidity or moisture
- Strong vibrations or shocks
Cleaning

QUICK TOUR
Step 1:
Connect your GTRS guitar to amplifier or headphones. You can set the output
mode properly in the GTRS App—Setting—Global—Output Mode menu.
Step 2:
Rotate the GTRS control knob clockwise to turn the guitar on. The knob LED
will indicate on/off status
Step 3:
Press the GTRS control knob to switch between different preset tones
Step 4:
Rotate the GTRS knob to adjust the output volume level to your preference
INSTRUCTIONS
GTRS App
The GTRS App functions as the editor software for the GTRS guitar. Users can

Get the GTRS App
You can download GTRS App from App Store (iOS, iPad OS), Google Play (Android), or GTRS official website. -
Activation
Open the Bluetooth menu of your smartphone or tablet and search for“ GTRS” to connect your guitar via Bluetooth. After connecting, a QR code scanner will display in the app. Use the APP to scan the bar code on the last page of your owner’s manual, or the bar code on the package, to finish activation and registration. The serial number and warranty of your GTRS guitar will automatically be registered as part of the activation process.
Notice: This procedure is only for GTRS guitars that have not yet been activated. An activated guitar will skip this procedure. Please ensure the GTRS guitar is on and your smart phone network connection is stable during activation. -

Super Knob

Preset Mode
Press to switch between four different tone presets. The color of the LED will change in order of dark blue, purple, orange, and sky blue. -
Guitar Simulation Mode
Press to switch the guitar simulation on. The purple LED indicates the guitar simulation is on while sky blue indicates the guitar simulation is turned off. -
Switch Mode. The guitar will begin in Preset Mode by default.
You can assign defaults through:
GTRS APP ‒ Settings ‒ Global – GTRS control.
Tuner
When the APP or wireless footswitch is connected, press and hold the GTRS knob
to access the tuner. The GTRS knob LED will turn yellow. Press the knob again
to exit the tuner.
Low battery alert
To provide the best experience for users, the GTRS knob will blink slowly when
the battery level is getting low. Please charge your GTRS battery as soon as
possible to maintain the battery life of your unit.
Charging
The lithium-ion battery in the GTRS system can be charged through the Type-C
USB port from the power supply. While charging, the GTRS knob LED will turn
red no matter which mode it is in. A green LED indicates a full charge.
GWF4 Wireless Footswitch (purchased separately)
The wireless footswitch can be used with GWF-4 for better control of presets
during live performance. Please see the wireless footswitch manual for more
information.
Bluetooth
Open the Bluetooth menu of your smart phone or tablet and search for“ GTRS” to
connect via Bluetooth. Users can use the Bluetooth function to play audio
tracks from a mobile device mixed with the GTRS guitar signal and send that
signal through the main output of the GTRS guitar.
Wireless System
The intelligent module of the GTRS 900 or higher version series has an
integrated 4 channels wireless system, which can pair with GTRSPTNR wireless
series extended modules providing more possibilities for play.
Note: GTRSPTNR GWU4 receiver is included in the package.
Live Stream/Direct Recording
Connect your mobile device to the GTRS guitar through the Type-C USB port. The
guitar signal will go directly to the mobile device to facilitate direct
recording or live streaming. The signal output level can be controlled by the
MASTER volume control knob. In addition, the volume level of the USB-OTG
signal, Bluetooth audio playback signal, and the guitar/headphone output
signal can be adjusted individually through the GTRS App.
Note:
Please make sure GTRS Intelligent Processor System is turned on when use the
Live steam/Direct Recording feature. If you like to record with your mobile
device, please make sure the OTG cable is match your mobile device.
Traditional Guitar Mode
If GTRS is off, or if the battery life is low, the output signal of the guitar
will switch to true bypass and function as a traditional guitar would. Only
the volume knob, tone knob, and pickup switch can affect the tone of the
guitar. In this mode, the guitar cannot support headphone output.

Caution:
The transfer distance is based on laboratory environment, without any obstacle
for pairing with GTRSPTNR GWU4 receiver. The actual transmission distance can
depend on interference types, reflection, and absorption from obstacles in the
user’s environment.
Caution:
- GTRS GLP-1 supports overcharging protection, over-discharging protection, short circuit protection, overcurrent protection.
- Recommend to charge the battery every three months as a fully charged battery; charge the empty battery every month for maintenance.
- The battery life will be around 75% of the original after 300 times of charging circuit.
- The suitable charging temperature is 0-45℃; storge temperature is 25°c±5°c.
