Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the Triplett GSM350 Carbon Monoxide/Carbon Dioxide IAQ Meter The GSM350 simultaneously displays CO, CO2, Temperature and Humidity. The meter has a real-time clock, datalogs and has user settable alarms for CO/CO2.

Description

Operation

Measurement Mode

  • Long press the ON/OFF Button to boot and shutdown.
  • After the device is turned on, the interface can display the value of Time, Battery Power, CO, CO2, Temperature and Humidity in real time, CO will begin a sensor warm up period of 30 seconds and then will start to measure.
  • Click the Left Button to enter the setup page, you can set the Language, Temperature unit switch, data sampling settings, automatic shutdown settings, alarm settings, brightness adjustment, time settings.
  • Short press of the Right Button will enter the CO, CO2 temperature and humidity and MAX/MIN/AVG mode.
  • Press the Enter/Rec Button to enter the history data query interface.

MAX/MIN/AVG Mode
In this mode, the real-time data, maximum, minimum and average values for CO, CO2, Temperature and Humidity is displayed Short press Right Button pauses the reading.
Short press Left Button switches the display page, so that CO, CO2, Temperature and Humidity can be switched in order Press the Return Button to return to the main page.

Setup Menu
User Interface allows for the custom setting of Language, Temperature Unit, Data Log sampling rates, Auto Power Off time, Alarm settings, Brightness adjustment, and time settings.

  • Short press Left/Right Button can move cursor, Left Button corresponds to ” , cursor moves up; Right Button corresponds to “ cursor moves down.
  • After selecting the corresponding settings, press the Enter Button to enter the corresponding setting interface.

Language Setup
Use the cursor to move to the desire language setting.

  • Short press the Enter Button to enter the language setting.
  • Choose from English or Chinese.
  • Short press Enter Button again to confirm and return to the setting interface, so that the Chinese and English interface can be switched.

Temperature Units (°C/°F) Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the desired Unit, (°C or °F) press the Enter Button to enter the temperature unit setting.
  • You can select the °C or °F.
  • Short press the Enter button to confirm and return to the settings interface

Datalogger Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the Datalogger settings, Press the Enter Button to enter the data sampling setting interface, The sampling rate, duration, and sleep mode can be set here.
  • The sampling rate is the sampling interval time, after the duration setting is completed, the meter will automatically shut down (when the timing reaches the sampling time)

Sampling Rate Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the sampling rate setting. Short press Enter Button to enter the sampling rate time setting page.
  • The time can be set lmin, 15min,1h.
  • After the sampling rate is selected, – Short press the Enter Button to confirm and return to the datalogger page.

Sleep Mode Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the sleep mode setting, then short press Enter Button to enter the sleep mode setting interface.
  • Set the sleep mode to ON or OFF
  • Short press the Enter Button to confirm and return to the datalogger page.

Auto Power OFF (APO) Setup

  • Use the cursor to Auto-off, short press Enter Button to enter automatic shutdown setting
  • User can select None, 2min, 10min, 1h.
  • Press the Enter Button to confirm and return to the settings interface.
  • After setting up, the meter will Auto Power Off at the selected time.
  • Choosing None will run until low battery and shut down.

Alarm Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the Alarm setting, short press Enter Button to enter the alarm setting.
  • The CO2 alarm value setting is first, a short press of the Left Button increases alarm limit, and a short press of the Right Button decreases the alarm limit
  • After setting the short press button to confirm the setting and enter the CO alarm value setting and repeat steps.
  • When the measured value is higher than the alarm value, the display value color changes from black to red, and when the CO or CO2 exceeds the alarm value, the buzzer sounds to alarm.

Brightness Setup

  • Use the cursor to adjust the display brightness, short press Enter Button to enter brightness adjustment. There are (4) levels to select from.
  • Short press Left Button to decrease the brightness; Short press Right Button to increase the brightness.

Date/Time Setup

  • Use the cursor to move to the Date/Time setting , short press the Enter Button to enter the time initialization setting.
  • First set for the year, short press Left Button plus, short press Right Button minus.
  • After setting up short press Enter Button confirmation into the month settings, and so on set the year.
  • Can choose 24H system or 12H system, short press Left, or Right Button can achieve switching.
  • Then enter the time division setting, short press Left Button plus, short press Right Button minus.
  • Confirm and exit by Enter Button after setting up.

History (Page 1)

  • Under the main interface, long press the Enter Button to enter the sampling history data query page.
  • Move the cursor through the Left/Right Button, select the corresponding date and time data.
  • Short press the Enter Button to enter the CO2, CO, Temperature and Humidity selection interface.

History (Page 2)

  • After entering the selection interface, there are CO2, CO, Temperature and Humidity options.
  • Select one of them and press the Enter Button to enter the histogram display interface.

Histogram Query (Page 3)
You can query the real-time data corresponding to the history time and the MAX/MIN/AVG value. And visualize it in the form of histogram.

  • A short press Left Button can make time move forward, a short press of the Right Button can make time move back, the change of time can be seen in the operation process.

Exporting Logged Data to .CSV File

  • When the instrument is in the OFF state, you can use USB ‘cable to connect to the computer and to transfer the logged data.
  • The data of each sampling is recorded in the form of CSV (Excel).
  • You can also delete files from this mode.

  • Maintenance or services are not included in this manual and products must be repaired by professionals.
