  1. Fill the water tank up to the max mark with water and descaling agent (the water/ descaling agent ratio is 4:1. refer to the descaling agent instructions for further information). TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST COFFEE

  1. To make the best coffee it is important that your coffee machine is used regularly. Follow the instructions in the section >>CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE<< always follow the coffee machine with clean, cold water.
  2. Store coffee powder you are not using in a clean, dry place. Close a opened pack of coffee powder well and keep it in the fridge to maintain freshness.
  3. Buy coffee bean and grind them just before brewing to make the best coffee.
  4. Do not use the coffee powder twice in succession. This greatly reduces the coffee taste. Freshly brewed coffee tastes best. Heating coffee is not recommended.
  5. Clean the coffee maker if grease residues are left behind after intensive use. The tiny droplets of oil that sometimes float on freshly brewed black coffee are cause by the extraction of oil from coffee powder.
  6. When using dark roasted coffee, more grease residues may remain on the machine.
