Cookware

Applicable are enameled or induction-appropriate pots. Minimum diameter 12 cm, but not larger than the ring on the glass plate. Too large pots can lead to an overheat of the electronic. You can test with a magnet whether your cookware is suitable or not.
If it sticks to the base of the pot, you can use the pot. -
Pots made of aluminum, copper, glass, ceramics and chrome nickel steel are not suitable.

Make sure that the bottom of the pot is flat and not too thin, as this will influence the temperature regulation negatively.

Caused in the composition of the materials of the pot, some noise might be heard during cooking.

Place the appropriate pot / pan (minimum diameter 12 cm) in the middle of the plate.
Generally
This appliance is only for private use, in small shops, offices, motels and indoor use and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.

Ensure that the power supply is adequately protected.

Before using the device check whether the glass surface or the power cord is damaged. In this case do not use the appliance!

The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that a re supervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.

Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appliance and the connecting cable.

The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system!

Only plug in the device as described on the rating label.

Place the device on a stable, flat, temperature resistant and nonmetallic surface. Do not touch the top plate shortly after removing the pot or the pan, as the top plate will still be very hot.

Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.

Never immerse the appliance or the power cord into water or other liquids (risk of electronic shock). Protect the device from moisture!

To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord, should only be carried out by a customer service.

If an extension cord is necessary, pay attention that it is suitable for the device. If a cable drum is used, always unwind it.

Do not plug with wet hands.

Always pull the plug, not the cord.

Pay attention that the power cord does not get in touch with hot parts.

Do not put any pointed objects into the air intake. Risk of electronic shock!)

Never place empty pots, cutlery or other metallic objects onto the device. Those objects will get hot! Do not heat cans, they can explode. Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper may get burnt.

In order to protect the electronic parts, the ventilation runs for a couple of minutes after the device has been turned off.

The glass surface can have a residual heat after cooking.

Attention! Do not place hot pots or pans onto the con trol panel! Not warranty payments!

Do not carry the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.

Do not use the device if unsupervised. Oil and fat can catch fire if they get too hot.

Do not place near objects which are affected by magnet. (e.g. automatic-banking cards).

Unplug the device after every use (not if built-in!)

Attention! Device gets hot! Risk of burns!

While using the device, the surface can get very hot. Place the device with a distance of at least 70 cm to burnable materials (e.g. curtains).
How to Clean
- Disconnect plug and wait until it is cooled down. Clean after each use.
- If the pots/pans are used without being cleaned, discoloration or cooked on stains may be caused.
- Do not use petrol, thinner, scrubbing brush or polishing power to clean the induction cooker.
- Wipe using dish washing agent and damp cloth.
- Use vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt from the air intake and exhaust vent.
- Never run water over the unit. (water gets inside may cause malfunction).
How to Use
If the model is build in a plate, take care, that the exhaust fan is not covered and the appliance gets enough air to avoid any overheating
Power
Press the „Stufe“ button, the light turns on.
The Power is displayed in Watt.
With the buttons „+/-“ the power can be adjusted in 10 steps.
Left plate 400-1800Watt
Right plate 400-1300Watt
The Power function is suitable to boil water, soups etc.
If meat or vegetable is broiled, the temperature function should be used, to
avoid any overheating.
The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection. If the pots gets to hot
the appliance switches off, a buzzer sounds and at the display „E2“ is shown.
If this case happens, the „On/Off „ button should be pressed and the appliance
cooled down for some minutes. After that the appliance works again normally.
Temperature
Press the „Temp“ button, the light turns on.
With the buttons „+/-“ the temperature can be adjusted in 20 degree steps. The
build in temperature sensor keeps the adjusted temperature (60°C-240°C).
Timer
Either Temperature or Power was adjusted. Press the button „Timer, the light
turns on at „Temperature“ or „Stufe“ and at „Zeit“. The Display shows „0“. The
time can be adjusted by pressing „+/-“ in 5min steps (max. 180min).
During the usage of the appliance the time can be adjusted in 5 min steps by
pressing the „+/-“ buttons. The time added or subtracted from the adjusted
time.
Shall the power or the temperature be changed, press the „Stufe“ or „Temp“
button. The adjusted steps can be seen on the display and changed by pressing
the „+/-“ button.
After the time runs out, the appliance switches off.
Safety switch off
Was the time not adjusted and the appliance is used in the „Power“ or „Temperature“ function, the appliance will switch off automatically 120 min after the last button was pressed.
Guarantee
The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined in our „Instructions for use“ in German.
Assembly
If you install the device on a table top, then please make sure that the
ventilation slits are not covered, adequate ventilation must be ensured.
Please note the assembly dimensions as displayed.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
Packaging disposal: Do not throw away the package materials. Please put it in the recycling bin.
Gift box: Paper, should be put to the old paper collection point.
Plastic packaging material and foils should be collected in the special
collection containers.
