Product Information

The Powerdale Home is a residential charging device that comes with a holder for T2 connector, charging cable with connector T2, three current transformers (CT) with RJ45 connector, and two RFID badges. The device can be registered and managed through the Nexxtmove App, which is available on the App Store or Google Play Store.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Register your device: Download the Nexxtmove App and sign up for a new user account. If you already have an account, sign in and select your charging device. Enter your SN (serial number) reference or scan the QR-code on the backside of your charging device.
  2. Activate Bluetooth connection: Click on the image of the Home and activate your Bluetooth connection. Pair your Home with your device and press Sync Now to synchronize your data via Bluetooth.
  3. Activate Wi-Fi connection (Optional): Go to Configuration and click on Mode under the category Connectivity. Select Wi-Fi and follow the instructions. After Wi-Fi is configured, synchronization through the App will be deactivated and your Home will automatically send its charging data via Wi-Fi.
  4. Charging: Plug the connector into your EV and charging will start automatically. You can charge using the Nexxtmove App by plugging the connector into your EV and starting your charge in the app. Alternatively, you can use an RFID badge by plugging the connector into your EV, swiping your badge on the charging device, and the charging session will start automatically.

    • Select ‘forgotten your password?’ and enter your username. Note that it is case sensitive. Select ‘I forgot my password.’ A link to create a new password will be sent to the e-mail address linked to your account. Click on the link to reset your password. You are now invited to enter and confirm your new password. Type your new password, confirm it, and select Save.
    • How can I synchronize my charging data?
    • Your data are automatically synchronized through Wi-Fi. Alternatively, you can press Sync Now to synchronize your data via Bluetooth.

HOW TO START?

Register your device

  1. Download the Nexxtmove App from the App Store or Google Play Store.Home-Powerdale-Nexxtender-fig-3
  2. If you are a new user, please sign up. If you already have an account, please sign in.
  3. Create a new user account. First step, select your language.Home-Powerdale-Nexxtender-fig-4
  4. Accept the End-User license agreement.
  5. Select your charging device. (Only if you have a Nexxtmove account)
  6. Enter your SN (serial number) reference or scan the QR-code on the backside of your charging device.
  7. Click on the image of the Home.
  8. Activate your Bluetooth connection. Pair your Home with your device.
  9. Press “Sync Now” to synchronize your data via Bluetooth.
  10. Activate the Wi-Fi connection (Optional)

Go to “Configuration” and click on “Mode” under the category Connectivity. Select “Wi-Fi” and follow the instructions. After Wi-Fi is configured, synchronisation through the App will be deactivated and your Home will automatically send its charging data via Wi-Fi.

Note that the Bluetooth connection will still be used for other operations with the app: start or stop a charging session, the live view, etc.

HOW TO CHARGE?

OPEN ACCESS

  1. Plug the connector into your EV.
  2. Charging will start automatically.

APP AS A KEY

  1. Make sure that the Nexxtmove App is authorized to access your smartphone location and to run in the background.
  2. Approach your Home within two meters and it will detect your proximity.
  3. A beep confirms the authorization to charge. You can plug your EV and the charging session will start automatically.

APP

  1. Plug the connector into your EV. Make sure you are within 2 meters from your charging device.
  2. Start your charge in the Nexxtmove app.

BADGE

  1. Plug the connector into your EV.
  2. Swipe your badge on the charging device.
  3. The charging session will start automatically.

Where can I see my charging data?

How can I change my password/login in the App?

  1. Select ‘forgotten your password?’.
  2. Enter your username. Note that it is case sensitive.
  3. Select “I forgot my password.”
  4. A link to create a new password will be sent to the e-mail address linked to your account.
  5. Click on the link to reset your password.
  6. You are now invited to enter and confirm your new password.
  7. Type your new password, confirm it and select “Save”.

How can I synchronize my charging data?

  • BLUETOOTH
    • Press “Sync Now” to synchronize your data via Bluetooth.
  • WIFI
    • Your data are automatically synchronised.

What are Eco/Max mode?

Max Mode: maximises charging speed

  • by combining maximum available grid power with local production
  • dynamically adapting charging power to avoid over-consumption on your electrical network

Eco Mode: optimises electricity consumption economically

  • by lowering charging power during the day
  • maximising charging power during the night and weekend (depending on the time set in the app)
  • optimising self-consumption of local-production (solar panels)

Description of the different led colors on your charging device

Color Type Meaning
Continuous The Home is available for a charging session.
Blinking A charging session has been authorized. You can plug in your EV

and it will automatically start charging.
| Glowing slow| Your EV is charging in Eco mode.
| Glowing fast| Your EV is charging in Max mode.
| Blinking| The battery of your EV has been fully charged
| Continuous| Error: EV or power measurements. Unplug your car and try again. Please contact your installer if the issue remains.
| Blinking| Error: residual current default. Unplug your EV and try again. Please contact your installer, if the issue remains.
| Continuous| Communication error.

Please verify your Wi-Fi configuration via the Nexxtmove app.

| White continuous and blinking| Your Home is rebooting.

The device will be functional once this is finished.

Caution

  • Before installation, check for exterior damage. If any part of the device is damaged, do not install it and contact your supplier.
  • Never use the product with humid or wet hands or tools.
  • Do not lean on, stack anything on top of, or hang anything from the holder or from the cables leading to the holder.
  • Avoid too much traction on the cables.
  • Do not step on, fold or knot the cables. Never use the cables as a rope.
  • Never use the product or the cables near a heating source.
  • Never use the product or the cables in the vicinity of flammable substances.

Warning

  • Always turn off power before any manipulation, maintenance or repair of any kind, including any external measurement part. Turning off the differential or circuit breaker does not ensure a complete power cut-off.
  • In case of danger or accident, ask a qualified person to turn off the power.
  • The environment must only be used for charging your electric vehicle.
  • This product must only be installed, repaired and maintained by qualified personnel. A qualified person is someone who is familiar with the installation, configuration, operation or maintenance of the equipment and the hazards involved. If the commissioning and start-up of the charging device is necessary, the person must have knowledge of electric vehicles, including the ISO 61851-1 standard.
  • The product is not intended for use by young children or any person not capable of assessing the risks. Do not allow children to play on or with this device.
  • Do not apply force when reattaching the charging connector to the holder.
