MEDION MD 17320 Hot Air Fryer
Intended Use
This appliance is suitable for deep-frying foods such as for example vegetables, fries, and potato wedges – homemade or ready to oven, and also for the preparation of fish, meat, and poultry.
This device is intended for use in private households and the like Household applications to be used, such as

- The device is not intended for commercial or industrial use.

Power connection

Installation
- Remove all packaging material, stickers, and foils from the device.
- Place the device on a heat-resistant, dry, and level surface.
- Pull the frying pan out of the device. Press the unlock button to remove the frying basket.
- Rinse the frying basket and the frying pot with hot water. Dry both parts well.
- Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
- First, insert the frying basket into the frying pot so that the catch on the handle fits into the recess of the frying pot and engages.
- Hold the handle of the frying pot and push it fully into the appliance from the front.
DANGER! Risk of injury! Fire hazard!
The high temperatures generated during operation would lead to the burning of the food if used without the frying basket. The surfaces get very hot and can be damaged by the lack of grip causing burn injuries on the basket.
- Always use the frying basket in the frying pot.
- Only use the device if the handle is correctly mounted on the frying basket.
- Only connect the hot air fryer to a properly installed, grounded, and electrically protected socket. The local mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device.

Select an automatic program (POMMES FRIES, CHICKEN, STEAK, SHRIMPS, PORK, K U-CHEN, or F ISH ) and start it by pressing the button again. The symbol for the automatic program, the animated fan, the temperature, and the remaining cooking time are displayed during operation.

- Set the cooking time and temperature manually.
- Press the Temperature + or – button to set the desired temperature in 5 °C increments. Temperatures from 80 °C to 200 °C can be set.
- Press the Timer + or – button to set the required cooking time in minute increments.
- A total cooking time of 30 minutes is possible.
- Start the cooking process by pressing the button again. The animated fan, the temperature, and the remaining cooking time are displayed during operation. During the preparation, you can check the doneness at any time Pull the frying pan out of the appliance. The device switches off automatically.
- Shake the frying basket halfway through cooking to redistribute the food. In this way, you can achieve even cooking of the food.
- To do this, pull the frying pot out of the device by the handle. Gently shake the food and slide the frying pot back into the appliance.
- Continue the cooking process by pressing the button again.
