Before the First Use
Read the operating instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the device for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions together with the device for future use. If other people use this device, make this manual availa-ble to them. If you pass on the device to a third party, this manual belongs to the device and must be supplied with it.

Intended Use
This unit is designed for use as photo and video lighting only. It must not be used for other purposes and in particular not for domestic room lighting.

Illuminance Measurement

The measurement of unconcentrated light is standard without reflec-tors, the linear distance from the LED light source to the illuminance meter is 1 meter.
When the angle of incidence of the reflector becomes smaller and
its depth deeper, the light is bundled. The centre of the light is very bright, the surrounding glow appears dimmed. The light ratio contrast thus becomes greater and the light at the corresponding centre of the measurement is dimmed. The illuminance increases.

Function Description

1. AC power: Insert the plug of the power adapter into the power socket [9] and connect the unit to the mains, press and hold the on/off switch [15] for 1.5 seconds to switch on the unit.

2. Optional battery operation*: The Soluna 150 RGB can optionally be operated via the Soluna V-Mount battery adapter. To do this, plug one end of the cable into the battery adapter and the other end into the mains socket [9] and press and hold the on/off switch
   [15] for 1.5 seconds to start the unit.

3. Batteries and battery adapter not included.

Function Description

CCT mode
Briefly press the CCT mode button [14] to enter CCT mode. Now briefly press the function knob [13], the selected value now lights up green. When the symbol lights up green, you can adjust the setting value with the function knob [13] and confirm by pressing the function knob [13] afterwards.

• CCT colour temperature mode: 2,000K-7,500 K
• G/M Magenta/Green: ±0.5

HSI: Full colour mode
Briefly press the HSI mode button [12] to enter HSI mode, briefly press the function knob [13] and the selected value will now light up green. When the symbol lights up green, you can set the setting value with the function knob [13] and confirm it by pressing the function knob [13] afterward.

• HSI full colour mode: 0–359
• SAT saturation: 0–100

Custom Light Effects
Briefly press the custom light effect mode button [11] to enter the custom light effect mode. Now the selected value lights green. When the symbol lights up green you can adjust the setting value with the function knob [13] and confirm by pressing the function knob [13] afterward.

• Pulse CCT: 2,700 K–7,500 K / Frq: 1–10
• Pulse HUE: 0–359 / Frq: 1–10
• Flash CCT: 2,700 K–7,500 K / Frq: 1–10
• Flash HUE: 0–359 / Frq: 0–9
• Cycle CCT: 2,700 K–7,500 K / Frq: 1–10
• Cycle HUE: 0–359 / Frq: 1–10

Menu Settings
Briefly press the menu button [6] to enter the settings menu. Now briefly press the function button [13] and the symbol of the value display flashes green. When the desi- red symbol turns green, set the value with the function knob [13] and press briefly to confirm the setting.

• Turn the function knob [13] to reset Bluetooth.
• Restore factory settings [13] Turn the function knob [13] to start the function for restoring the factory settings.

Light effect mode
Briefly press the light effect knob [7] to enter light effect mode and alternately switch on different light effect modes. Briefly press the function knob [13] and the selected value now lights up green. When the symbol turns green, set the value with the function knob [13] and press it briefly to confirm.
There are 19 preset light effects, adjustable in a frequency of 1-10. Press the light effect pause / -playback button [8] to pause or to continue playing the light effect.

Rollei Studio App / Studio App / Bluetooth®

Download the ”Rollei Studio“ app for iOS from the App Store or the „Studio“ app from the Amazon App Store for Android (iOS 9.0 or higher, Android 5.0 or higher).

Connection with the smartphone

1. Activate Bluetooth®* on your smartphone.
2. Switch on the Rollei Soluna 150 RGB and activate Bluetooth®* in the settings menu.
3. Open the ”Rollei Studio“ app, the connection with the smartphone will be established automatically.
   Note: If you want to connect the LED light with the app on another smartphone, go to the menu to reset the Bluetooth®* signal.

Note:

• The connection is established using ”Bluetooth®* Low Energy“ (BLE). A location release of the app is necessary for this. The connec-tion to the LED light is established directly in the app.

Note** : If a different smartphone than before is to be used to use the permanent light, the connection to the previous smartphone must first be interrupted and the permanent light must be deleted from the settings in the app on the previous smartphone.

Zoom Control
Adjust the Zoom LED button [10] and adjust the position of the LED light head. The zoom light head can improve the light and shadow levels and the expression of details.

Safety Instructions

Danger from electric current!
Faulty electrical installations or excessive mains voltage can cause electric shock.

• Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the socket corre-sponds to the specifications on the type plate.
• Connect the product to an easily accessible power outlet so that you can quickly disconnect it from the mains in case of problems.
• Use only the supplied power cord.
• Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the cable is defective.
• If the product or its accessories are damaged, they must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its service department or a similar-ly qualified person to prevent hazards.
• The housing must not be opened and repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician. To do this, contact a specialist work-shop. Any liability and all warranty claims are excluded in the event of repairs by the user, improper connection or incorrect operation.
• Do not use the product with an external timer.
• If you do not use the product for a long period of time, always dis-connect it from the power source.

• Ensure adequate ventilation during operation. Never cover the ventilation slits of the unit.
• Do not use or store the unit in high temperatures or in closed rooms exposed to direct sunlight. The product should not be used in am-bient temperatures above 40°C.
  Note: Only for lighting for photographic purposes. Not suitable for permanent room lighting.

Disposal

• Dispose of the packaging according to its type. Use the local possibilities for collecting paper, cardboard and other mate-rials. (Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with systems for the separate collection of recyclable materials.)
• Devices that are marked with this symbol must not be dis-posed of with household waste! You are legally obliged to dispose of old devices separately from to dispose of household waste. Information on collection points that accept old appli-ances free of charge can be obtained from your local authority or town council.
