Product Information

The product is a portable speaker with a built-in lithium battery that can be charged using a Micro USB cable. It has a microphone input, MicroSD input, and USB input. The speaker also has an ON/OFF switch, mode button, previous button/volume decrease button, play/pause button, next button/volume increase button, charge indicator light, and a Micro USB charging port. The speaker complies with FCC, ISEDC, and Canadian ICES-003 and RSS-247 regulations.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Speaker

Using the provided Charging Cable, plug the Micro USB tip into the Micro USB Charging Port on the speaker and plug the other end (USB Tip) into a USB port on your computer or USB wall charger (not included). The LED Indicator Light will illuminate red while charging and turn off when completed. A full charge will take approximately 4 hours. Do not use a charger with more than 5V, 2.4A rating.

NOTE : The input for charging is 5V, 1A. Do not use a charger with more than 5V, 2.4A rating.

Product and Battery Disposal
This product contains a built-in lithium battery and should not be disposed of in normal household waste. For disposal and recycling, please contact your local waste management authorities. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in fire or water.

Power On/Off

To turn on/off the speaker, slide the toggle switch to the ON or OFF position.

Bluetooth Mode

To pair a Bluetooth enabled device for the first time to your Pairing a Bluetooth Enabled Device for the First Time to your Bluetooth Speaker

Bluetooth Speaker:

  1. Keep the unit and your Bluetooth enabled device within 1 metre at all times during the pairing process.
  2. Turn on the speaker and press the Mode Button and toggle to the Bluetooth mode.
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth enabled device and search for Bluetooth devices.

Refer to the user manual for your Bluetooth enabled device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices.

  1. Keep the unit and your Bluetooth enabled device within 1 metre at all times during the pairing process.

  2. Turn on the speaker and press the Mode Button and toggle to the Bluetooth mode.

  3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth enabled device and search for Bluetooth devices. When the search is complete, select “BTSPK113” from the Bluetooth device list
    NOTE:

  4. If pairing was unsuccessful, turn off the speaker first and repeat the steps above to re-pair again.

  5. After successful pairing, paired devices will remember each other. Unless pairing information is deleted, re-pairing is not required after the first time.

  6. If you want to pair the unit with other Bluetooth enabled devices, please disconnect/remove the existing device and pair with the new device according to the steps above.

  7. To increase or decrease the volume on the speaker, press and hold the Volume Increase or Volume Decrease Button.

  8. To skip songs forward or backward, press the Previous or Next Button.

  9. To pause and resume playback, press the Play/Pause button.

  • Cleaning : Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with a dry damp cloth.

  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the product has been damaged in any way, such as objects have fallen into the product, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

MICROPHONE

Connect the microphone to sing along to your favourite tunes.

FM MODE

Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the FM Mode. Press the Play/Pause Button to start the auto search function. Once the auto search feature is completed, all stations with signal will be saved into memory. Use the Previous or Next Buttons to search through the saved stations

Tips for Best Reception: If the FM reception is weak, change the position or location of the unit or try placing the unit near a window until you get the best reception.

USB MODE
This unit allows you to play music from a USB thumb drive with MP3 formatted files. Insert the USB thumb drive. Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the USB Mode.

MICRO SD MODE
This unit allows you to play music from a MicroSD memory card with MP3 formatted files. Insert the MicroSD card. Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the MicroSD Mode.

NOTE : To insert the MicroSD card, use your fingernail to help push it in all the way until it clicks in. To remove the MicroSD card, push it in all the way and it will click out. The microSD memory card can be left in the speaker or taken out. It will not affect the function of the speaker as you cycle through the different modes.

TWS FUNCTION
You can connect another BTSPK113 speaker for double the sound using the TWS function. Turn on both speakers to the Bluetooth Mode. Make sure no other devices are connected via Bluetooth to either speaker. Press and hold the Mode Button and the 2 speakers will connect automatically. You will hear a beep, then an audible alert when both are connected. After the 2 speakers are connected, go ahead and pair your device to the BTSPK113 speaker.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Warning : Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children. Before returning your Product for service under this Warranty, (i) please read the instruction manual carefully and visit our website at www.borne-lifestyle.com for product updates and extended support documentation (e.g., Frequently Asked Questions, Common Troubleshooting Guides); (ii) please contact Edco Electronics Support if you are still having trouble with your Product. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, Edco Electronics warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, noncommercial use (“Defects”) for a period of 1 year.

Warranty Period encompasses separate “Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, with each Coverage Period to begin from the original date of Customer purchase. Parts are covered for a period of 1yr. Labour is covered for 90 days. If Customer returns a defective Product during the applicable Warranty Period, Edco Electronics will, at its option during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable), either: (i) repair the Product or (ii) replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product, in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remedy and Edco Electronics’ sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.

This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has Defects resulting from:

  1. (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number;
  2. (b) any modification or repair to Product by any party other than Edco Electronics or a party authorized in writing by Edco Electronics;
  3. (c) any damage to Product due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product;
  4. (d) cosmetic damage to the Product caused by normal wear and tear;
  5. (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit;
  6. (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or
  7. (g ) any acts of God. Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where
  8. (i) there is a risk that any data storage

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND EDCO ELECTRONICS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF (I) MERCHANTABILITY, (II) FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR (III) NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL EDCO ELECTRONICS BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OR INACCURACY OF ANY DATA OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE). ADDITIONALLY, EVEN IF EDCO ELECTRONICS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, EDCO ELECTRONICS’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ACTUAL DIRECT DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT COSTS PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT CAUSING SUCH DAMAGES, IF ANY.

his Warranty gives Customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, Customer must call Edco Electronics Support prior to making a Product Return. Customer must include with Product Return the following items:

  1. a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid;
  2. a detailed description of Customer’s problem with Product;
  3. Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, and;
  4. a money order for any applicable shipping costs made out to Edco Electronics Inc. to cover return shipping charges to US and Canadian destinations only. Edco Electronics will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to Customer. Failure to enclose any of these items may delay the processing of your Warranty claim. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging
