UNITED UNI-3409 Air Conditioning Inverter

Product Information

The product models UNI-3409/UNO-3410, UNI-3412/UNO-3413, UNI-3418/UNO-3419, and UNI-3424/UNO-3425 are electronic devices that serve as data acquisition systems. The devices have multiple channels for measuring and recording analog signals, which can be used for various applications in research, testing, and analysis.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the power supply to the device and turn it on.
2. Connect the analog signal source to the device using appropriate cables or connectors.
3. Configure the device settings using the provided software or interface. This includes selecting the channels to be measured, setting the sample rate and duration, and specifying any other parameters relevant to the measurement.
4. Start the data acquisition process by pressing the appropriate button or command on the software/interface.
5. Monitor the data acquisition process and verify that the signals are being measured accurately. Adjust the settings as necessary to optimize the measurement.
6. Stop the data acquisition process when the desired amount of data has been collected.
7. Save the data to a file or export it to another software or application for further analysis.
8. Turn off the device and disconnect all cables and connectors.

This description is applied to Air Conditioners with Wi-Fi function. Please read the manual carefully before using the product and it for future reference.

BEFORE YOU START

• Ensure your router provides a standard 2.4GHz connection.
•  If your router is dual band ensure that both networks have different network names (SSID).
  The provider of your router/ISP will be able to provide advice specific to your router. Place the Air conditioner as close as possible to the router during setup. Once the app has been installed on your phone, turn off the data connection, and ensure your phone is connected to your router via wifi.

DOWNLOAD THE APP TO YOUR PHONE

Download the “TUYA SMARTLIFE™ app, from your chosen appstore. Alternatively, you couldalso download the “TUYA Smart” app which is also compatible, but has some slight differences in the layout.

REMARK: Alternatively, you can use the TUYA Smartapplication, which has a similar layout and functions

CONNECTING

CONNECTION METHODS AVAILABLE FOR SETUP
This smart device has two different setup modes, “Add Manually” and “Search by Device” Before starting the setup, please ensure that your Air conditioner is placed as close as possible to your wifi-router.

ENTERING CONNECTION MODE
To enter connection mode on your Air conditioner, press the “Display” on the remote controller 6 times in 8s, or use a suitable tool to keep pressing the reset button on the
WIFI module, until it shows “CF” on the indoor display. The WIFI indication will start flashing

CONNECTING THROUGH THE “ADD MANUALLY” TAB
Before initiating the connection, make sure the WIFI is ON and that the relative indication is flashing. If not, press “Display” button on the remote 6 times again, while also ensure your phone is connected to the wifi network .

CONNECTING USING THE “SEARCH FOR DEVICE” TAB
Before initiating the connection, make sure the unit is switched on, with the connection light flashing. If not, press “Display” button on the remote 6 times again or keep pressing the reset button on the WIFI module, while also ensure that your phone is connected to the wift network.

CONTROLLING YOUR DEVICE THROUGH THE APP
Now that your Air Conditioner is linked up to your network, you can control it from your phone.

Note: There are two different control interfaces according to the model, please read the manual carefully base on the real control interface. Some of the functions described in this manual may not be availabel for your model

• From the main control screen you can turn your device on and off by tapping the power icon on the screen.
• Press the top left button to go back to the last page. There are three tabs at the bottom of the main menu of the application allowing you to swap between Home, Smart, Me options

PROFILE TAB
The profile tab gives you the option to edit both your details, and use the added features of the unit. When further settings can be set, three dots appear on the screen (…)

CHANGING THE NAME OF YOUR DEVICE
Tap on the pencil icon on the top right corner. The top option allows you to change the name of the device to something relevant to the use of the product. Click “Location*, and assigna location tothe Air Conditioner. Example: Bedroom 1, Dining Room etc. and tapsave. Use the arrow on top left to return to the operati screen.

SHARE DEVICE
This allows you to share access to the controls of your Air Conditioner with friends and family.

DEVICE-SHARING SET UP
The person you add will need to have the TUYA APP installed on their phone. Open the APP and choose the appliance. Tap the ‘pen’ icon in the top right corner of the screen. Tap ‘Share Device’ to enter the number of the persons you want to include or tap the phone icon to select the person’s phone number from your contacts. Tap “Confirm” to complete the addition.

REMARK: The invitation for device sharing must be sent to the details of an existing registered user at TUYA Smart Life.

DEVICE SHARING CANCELLATION
Tap ‘Shared Devices’ to delete the number of the person you want to cancel Tap “Confirm” to complete the addition.

NOTE: There can only be one user operating the unit ata time. The APP needs to be close other devices to onacid the sharing to work
NOTE: If someone else sets up their phone on the same device without using the “Share Device*, the original phone will be disconnected and the unit will disappear from the device list.

CREATE A GROUP
Group some devices to control together.

• For example: Turn off all group devices together.

The main control interface

Mode setting

1. Tap Mode to pop up the Mode screen.
2. Select one of the mode Feel/Cool/Heat/Dry/Fan.
3. Tap anywhere around the setting temperature to cancel the Mode setting.

Select fan speed

1. Tap Fan to pop up the Fan screen.
2. Select one of the fan speed High/med/Low/Auto.
3. Tap anywhere around the setting temperature to cancel the selection.

Function setting

1. TapFunction to pop upthe Function screen.
2. Selectone of the functions Sleep/Turbo/ECO.
3. Select UP-DOWN/LEFT-RIGHT for auto swing with direction of UP-DOWN/LEFT-RIGHT.
4. Tap anywhere around the setting temperature to cancel the Function setting.

Timer-adding

1. Tap Timer to pop up the Add Timer screen.

2. Tap Add Timer.

3. Select the time, select the repeat days and Timer on/off.

4. Select the Mode/Fan speed/Function and select the setting temperature for Timer on.

5. Tap Save to add the timer.

Timer-Management

1. Tapthe baroftimer to edit the Timer like the Timer adding process.
2. Click the switch to enable or disable the Timer.
3. Holdind the bar of Timer about 3 seconds and pop up the Remove Timer screen, tap CONFIRM and remove the Timer.

Mode setting

1. Tap the Mode button.
2. There are 5 modes on the Mode screen, tapone button to set the Air conditioner working mode.
3. Tap the X button to back the main control screen.
4. The mode and background will change on the screen.

Note: please read the details of each mode in the user manual to control more comfortably.

Fan speed selection

1. Tap the Fan speed button.
2. Choose your desired fan speed and tap it.
3. Tap the X button to back the main control screen.
4. The selected fan speed indicator will appear on the screen.

• Note: Fan Speed cannot be adjusted on Dry mode.
• Note: Fan Speed screen may appear slightly different , depending on the air-conditioner model.

Example as below:

Air Flow control

1. Tap the Precision Air Flow button or Swing Flow button.
2. Choose your desired air flow and tap it.
3. Tap the X button to back to the main control screen.
4. Theselected air flow indicatorwill appear on the screen.

Note: For some models without auto Left-Right wind, If you active it, you will hear a beep, but no any actions.

Note: The Main control screen and Air Flow screen may appear slightly different, depending on the air-conditioner model.

Example as below:

ECO function

1. For Eco function, just tap the button to activate the function, the button will be lighting and the indicator will appear on the screen.
2. Tap again to disable the function.
3. Temperature controlled for some air conditioner model:

• In Cooling mode, the new setting temperature will ≥ 26°C.
• In heating mode, the new setting temperature will < 25°C.

Note: The Main control screen and ECOcontrol method may appear slightly different, depending on the air-conditioner model. Example as below:

Note: ECO is disabled on Turbo/Sleep mode too for some air conditioner model.

Timer(off) setting

1. Tap the Timer button.
2. Tap+ in the upper rightcornerofthe Timermain screen.
3. Choosethe Time/Repeat/Switch OFF thentap Save.
4. The timer(off) will appear on the Timer main screen.

Tap repeat> then tap your desired repeat days or Once, then tap Confirm your selection.

Timer (on) setting

1. Tap the Timer button.
2. Tap + in the upper right corner of the Timer main screen.
3. Setthe Time/RepeatDate/Switch(ON)/Temperature/Mode/ Fan speed/Air Flow as your desired and then tap Save.
4. The timer will appear on the Timer main screen.

Tap repeat> then tap your desired repeat days or Once, then tap Confirm your selection.

Timer Management

1. Change the Timersetting: Tap anywhere of the timer list bar except the switch bar to get into the Timer setting screen, change the setting and then tap save.
2. Enable or Disable the Timer: Tap the left of the switch to disable the Timer. Tap the right of the switch toenable the Timer.
3. Delete the Timer: Slide the list bar of the Timer from right to left until the Delete button appear, then tap delete.

More functions

1. Tap the More button to operate additional functions if it appears on the screen.

2. Tap the “Display” to switch on/off the indoor LED display.

3. Tap the “Buzzer” to switch on/off the buzzing when operating through Wi-Fi APP.

4. Tap the “Anti-Mildew” button to activate the Anti-Mildew function, if it is available on the screen. After AC turning off, it will start drying, reduce residual moisture and prevent mould. After he function finishes, it will automatically turn off,

5. Tap the HealtH button to switch on/off the healthy function, if it is available on the screen. It activates the antibacterial ionizer function. This function refers to models with ionizer generator.
   More functions

6. Tap the”GEN Mode button, if it is available on the screen. In this Mode, you can choose one of the three levels of current. The air conditioner will maintain proper current to save energy.

7. Tap the” Electricity Monitoring button if it is available on the screen. Inthis function, you can monitor the air conditioner electricity consumption.

8. Tapthe’Self-Cleanin’ button, fitis available on the screen. Check the details of the Self-Cleaning function on User Manual. Tapthe’8 C Heat button, if it is available on the screen.

9. This function helps keep the room temperature over 8 °C. Check the details of the 8 C Heat function on User Manual.
   More functions

10. Tap the Reservation button, if it is available on thescreen. You can set the time, repeat day, temperature, mode, fan speed, air flow as you desired and then tap Save to activate the function. The air conditioner will automatically reach your settings at the appointment time.

11. Tap the Self-diagnosis button, if it is available on the screen. The air conditioner will automatically diagnose itself and indicate the Error code and the problem instructions if possible.

12. Tap the electricity Management button if it is available on the screen.

Home (Family) management

1. Tap the name of the home at the left upper corner of the Home Screen and select Home Management. Or tap Me and tap Home Management.
2. Tap one of the families in the family list and get into the Family Settings screen.
3. Set the family as the following indicators.

Account management

Home (Family) management-Room management
In the Family Settings”screen, tap “Room Management”and get into the ‘Room Management, operate as below indicators.

Others like: APP version, Account logout, Voice control information, etc .

Notice

1. For technical update, there may exist deviation of the actual items from what is on the manual. We express our apologies. Please refer to your actual product and APP.
2. Smart air conditioner APP can be altered without notice for quality improvement and also be deleted depending on the circumstances of manufacturing firms.
3. In case Wi-Fi signal strength is weakened, smart App may be disconnected. Make sure the indoor unit is placed near the wireless router.
4. DHCP server function should be activated for wireless router.
5. The internet connection may fail because of a firewall problem. In this case, contact your internet service provider.
6. For smart phone system security and network setting, make sure Smart air conditioner APP is trusted.

Trouble Shooting

Air conditioner can’t be configured successfully

| 1.  Check the mobile-connected Wi-Fi address and password is correct;

2.  Check the air conditioner under configuration status;

3.  There are any firewalls or other restrictions been set or not;

4.  check the router work normally;

5.  Make sure the air conditioner, router, and mobile work within signal scope;

6.  Check router shielding App or not;

Mobile can’t control air conditioner

| Software display:     Identification failed, It means the air conditioner has been reset, and the mobile phone lost control permission.

You need to connect Wi-Fi to get permission again. Please connect the local network and refresh it.

After all still can’t work, please delete air conditioner and wait its refresh.

Mobile can’t find air conditioner

| Software display: Air conditioner out ofline. Please check network working;

1.  The air conditioner has been reconfiguration;

2.  Air conditioner out of power;

3.  Router out of power;

4.  Air conditioner can’t connect to router;

5.  Air conditioner can’t connect to network through the router (under remote control mode);

6.  Mobile can’t connect to router(Under local control mode);

7.  The mobile phone can’t connect to network (under remote control mode).
