INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

Remove the battery compartment cover of Siren and insert the provided batteries.

  1. Twist the battery compartment cover clockwise.eufy T8970 Outdoor Indoor Siren - BATTERIES
  2. Insert the batteries into the slots.

ADDING SIREN TO YOUR SYSTEM

  1.  Download the deify Security app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
  2. Tap Add Device, choose Siren, then select a Home Base to link the sensor to. Make sure you’ve already setup your deify Security Home Base and updated the firmware to the latest version.
  3. Press and hold the SYNC button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator blinks blue. This means Siren is ready to pair.
  4. The LED indicator will turn solid blue for 5 seconds, which indicates the pairing has been successful. Then follow the in- app instructions to complete the setup.

MOUNTING SIREN

Choose a Location
Siren can be installed on an indoor or outdoor wall. To extend the reach of Home Base’s sound, you can install Siren where the sound of HomeBase doesn’t reach.
Mount Siren

  1. Remove the rubber plugs from Siren’s bracket.
  2. Install Siren’s bracket on the wall with the screws provided.
  3. Reinstall the rubber plugs.

SAFETY

The recommended temperature range for devices and accessories is -10°C to 40°C (14°F-104°F).
