What water may be used?

Your appliance has been designed to function using untreated tap water. However, the steam chamber auto-clean should be run regularly in order to remove limescale. If your water is very hard (hardness above 30°f or 17°dH or 21°e), we recommend you use a mix of 50% untreated tap water and 50% commercially available demineralized water.

  • Never use water containing additives (starch, perfume, flavoring, softener etc.), condensation water (for example, rainwater or water from tumble dryers, refrigerators or air conditioning units), pure commercially available demineralized water or pure commercially available distilled water. They contain organic waste and minerals that become concentrated when heated and can cause spitting, lead to brown water spots or reduce the lifespan of your appliance
