ROLBIT 69626512 Control Board

Introduction

  1. Before beginning work turn OFF all power. There may be power from more than one source.
  2. Observe the current settings of the dip switches and set the dip switches on the new board identically. Remember power must be cycled whenever the dip switches are changed as they are only read at power up.
  3. Install the new board and wire per the unit-wiring diagram
  4. Turn on power and check board operation. Short across test terminals to eliminate all time delays during test.
Refer to original wiring diagram and IOM manual for complete details and settings.

Quick tests if the board does not seem to work.

  1. Make sure you have 24 volts and the normal green LED is ON not the green fault LED
  2. Make sure dip switches are set correctly
  3. Quick test: Then test by disconnecting the thermostat wiring and install a jumper between R and Y1. If the unit runs in cooling then there is a problem in the thermostat or the thermostat wiring.
  4. Remove all wires from CSD, USD and ESD and try 3 again.
  5. If both HP and LP lights are on you have the wrong thermostat and need to change to a HEAT-COOL thermostat. The board is indicating that it is getting a W1 heat call and a Y1 cooling call at the SAME TIME and it does not know what to do.

Notes:

  1. If unit is over 10 years old and also uses a second transformer voltage of 8.4 volts.
Do not connect this tap. 24 volts should be the only power on the P and C terminals.

  2. The R thermostat terminal has a diode to prevent back feed in master slave applications. You will only read 10-12 volts at this terminal as it is half wave rectified, this is normal. If you need 24 volts to operate a thermostat and are only controlling one unit. Then you can install a jumper from P3 to R.

  3. If all fault lights flash indicating high or low voltage, you can defeat high voltage trip by cutting the JP-2 jumper. This is located about 1 ½ inches above the USD terminal. Re-cycle power after cutting.
