Components

Charging and battery level display

  1. Connect the USB Type-C cable and an AC adapter to charge the product.
  2. Charge the product fully before using it.
  3. The LCD display on top of the product will indicate the remaining battery level.

Volume limitation feature
For a seamless user experience, the maximum volume will automatically be reduced by 50% if the remaining battery is 20% or below.
Limited operation for discharged battery voltage
If the battery voltage is discharged, the product will not be turned on in order to protect the battery.
The LCD display will indicate “Low battery.”

Button features

The color of the LED will change to green/blue/red depending on the carbon monoxide condition.

Connecting Bluetooth (Pairing)

  1. Press the button on Saver to turn the power on.

  2. Press the button on Saver to switch to BT mode.

  3. The LCD display will indicate “READY.”

  4. Activate the Bluetooth function on the Bluetooth device to be connected.
    If “Saver” is displayed on the device to be connected, please select the “Saver.”

  5. Paring will be completed when “PAIRED” is displayed on the LCD display of SAVER as well as the name of the connected device.
    Connecting Bluetooth \(Pairing\)

  • The name of the connected Bluetooth device will be displayed in English only, and other languages will be shown as “ _ .”
  • Once connected, the Saver will be turned on again (in case it re-enters Bluetooth mode) or automatically be connected to the last connected Bluetooth device.
    However, it will be connected automatically only if the Bluetooth function of the device is turned on.

Bluetooth TWS (Truly Wireless Stereo)

  1. Disconnect all Bluetooth connections to the product. Switch both SAVER1 and SAVER2 to Bluetooth mode.
    If the LCD displays of both products indicate “READY,” they are ready to connect with TWS.

  2. Press and hold the play button on the SAVER1 for more than 3 seconds.

  3. The LCD display of SAVER1 will show “WAIT…” and start searching for devices to connect to automatically.
    Once connected, the LCD indicator of SAVER1 will show “TWS OK” and the device will switch to the BT standby (READY) mode in 3 seconds. “TWS” will continually be displayed on SAVER2.

  4. Connect the SAVER1 to the Bluetooth device via Bluetooth.
    Bluetooth TWS \(Truly Wireless Stereo\)

  • If both products are in a location where TWS connection is available while powered on, they will connect with TWS mode automatically.
  • To turn off the *TWS mode, connect SAVER2 to your Bluetooth device.
  • If the connection with SAVER2 is lost in TWS mode, music playback will stop automatically. (※ You may not hear music if it is being played when reconnecting SAVER2.)

Note

  • Place this product as close as possible to your Bluetooth device to connect.
    Bluetooth may not work well even at close range in the following circumstances:

    • Where there are obstacles or people between each Bluetooth device
    • Where devices using the same frequency as Bluetooth like medical devices, microwave ovens, or wireless LAN are located around this device and Bluetooth devices
  • If you fail to connect this device to other devices via Bluetooth, please try to connect again.

  • To connect this device with a new Bluetooth device, deactivate the current Bluetooth connection and connect a new one.

  • The sound may be interrupted by other radio waves.

  • Depending on the type of Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth function may not work.

  • You can use Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices, MP3 players, a laptop, etc. to access the wireless system.

  • The further this product is away from connected Bluetooth devices, the lower the sound quality.

  • Bluetooth connection will be lost if you turn off the device or if the distance between this device and the Bluetooth device increases.

  • If the Bluetooth device is disconnected, please reconnect it.

  • When switching to Bluetooth functionality, this product will automatically connect to the Bluetooth device that was last played or connected.
    (Automatic connection may not be supported depending on the specifications of the connected devices.)

Connecting USB and playback

  1. Connect your USB storage device to the USB port.
  2. Click the M button to switch to USB mode.
  • Play: Click the button.

  • Pause: Click the button while playing.

    • To navigate within files: Press and hold the  button while playing and release it to play the part you want from.
    • To skip files: Press the forward ( ) and backward ( ) buttons.
    • If the play time is less than 3 seconds, press the button to go to the previous file.
    • If the play time is 3 seconds or longer, press the button to return to the first part of the file being played.

  • MP3 files may not be supported depending on the format or type of file.

Precautions for USB connection and usage
  • Devices that require separate driver installation are not supported.
  • Do not remove your USB device while using it.
  • If the size of your USB drive is large, it may take several minutes or more to search for files.
  • The manufacturer is not responsible for data loss. Always back up your files to minimize the risk of data loss.
  • If you connect your device using a USB hub or an extension cable, it may not be recognized in this device.
  • NTFS is not supported. Only FAT (16/32) and exFAT file formats are supported.
  • External hard drives, card readers, locked devices, or hard drive-typed USB storage devices are not supported.
  • PCs cannot be connected to the USB port of this product. This product cannot be used as a storage device.
  • Some USB devices may not work with this product.
  • Do not use the USB port to charge other devices such as mobile devices.

  • It will play from File 1 to File 14 sequentially.
  • The order of files and folders in your USB device will be displayed in the order in which they were recorded and can be played differently depending on the recording status.
  • ROOT: This is the first screen you will see when your PC recognizes the USB device.

AUX CABLE(optional)

  1. Connect an external device to the AUX port of this product.
    ※ It is recommended that you use an AUX cable with a head size of less than ø 10mm.

  2. Press the button to turn on.

  3. Press the button to select the AUX function.

  4. Turn on the connected device and play it.

Listening to FM radio

※ For seamless radio reception, pull the FM antenna out and fully unfold it before use.

  1. Press the button to select the FM radio function.
    The LCD shows “FM” and the last channel you listened to.

  2. Press the button repeatedly to jump to the desired radio frequency.
    Press and hold the button (for more than 2 seconds) to automatically advance to the next available channel.

*FM radio frequency may be weak or may not be available depending on your location and environment.

Carbon monoxide (CO) detection
  1. Press the CO button to activate the CO detection function.
  • The CO detecting function will be on/off independently regardless of the POWER function. 2. When the CO detecting function is activated, the LCD display will show “CO ON” for 3 seconds and switch to the previous display. 3. The LED of the CO button will be displayed in three different colors depending on the detected CO concentration.

  • Safety Stage: Green

  • Warning Stage: Blue

  • Hazardous Stage: Red 4. The alarm may repeat depending on the condition of carbon monoxide detected and the battery voltage state.
    If you hear the alarm, take appropriate measures such as ventilation and charging.

  • Carbon Monoxide Warning Stage: Voice alarm repeats (LED: Blue)

  • Carbon Monoxide Hazardous Phase: Voice alarm repeats (LED: Red)

  • The alarm will occur if the remaining battery is below 20% with carbon monoxide detection activated.

    • All alarms will repeat before the CO detection is turned off or the warning status is cleared off. To turn off the alarm, ventilate or charge your device accordingly, or turn off the CO detecting function.

Caution

  • The carbon monoxide detecting function must be enabled in order to use the carbon monoxide alarm function.

[Carbon monoxide alarm function] This is an auxiliary feature of this product, and its operation is not guaranteed in all situations.
Please only use it as a reference for determining the carbon monoxide concentration as the surrounding environment may affect the detection results.

The following “Safety Precautions” are intended for preventing unexpected risks and damages, so please make sure to check them. ‘Safety Precautions’ are divided into two categories: ‘Warning’ and ‘Caution’.

Do Not Disassemble The Product Arbitrarily

Warning

  • Do not store the product near flammables or in a location where the temperature is too high.
  • Do not cause any impact/damage to this product.
  • Do not put the product in water. This device is not 100% waterproof.
  • Do not arbitrarily disassemble, repair, or modify the product. (Not covered by warranty)
  • If the speaker smells and produces smoke, stop using it.
    Turn off the power immediately, disconnect the AC adapter, and contact our service center.

Caution

  • Do not use the product in humid or rainy environments for a long time.
    This may result in malfunction.

  • Do not use an AC adapter that does not meet the required specifications. This may cause damage to the product.

  • Do not use the product in a chemical-rich environment. The carbon monoxide detecting function may not work properly.

  • Disconnect the AC adapter if the product is not working properly.

  • Do not drop the product from a high place. This may cause damage to the product.

Power Saving Function

To reduce power consumption, the product will turn off automatically if there is no input signal from an external device for 15 minutes. The product will also turn off automatically after 6 hours, even if it is connected to another device via the analogue input.

For product defects

  1. Unable to power on.
    → Make sure that there is sufficient battery power.
    → Connect the charging cable to adequately charge the product.

  2. The product does not work even when I press the button.
    → Press the reset button on the lower back.
    If the measures above do not work, contact the EMSONIC service center.
