Quick Start Guide

Step 1.Turn on the device

Press the power button for 3-5 seconds, once it’s on, the homepage of the device is shown as below:

Switch on Wi-Fi on smartphone, connect to the Wi-Fi network of the device
(Wi-Fi name is shown on the homepage), input the Wi-Fi password and enjoy the internet once it’s connected

Powerbank Function

The OTG cable allows you use your G40 to charge a mobile phone. G40 can be used as power bank when it is powered on and has over 30% battery. If you have made sure you’ve got everything right, but find the G40 not charging properly. Here are 2 possible reasonS.

  1. The OTG cable is not recognized by device. Please try with the original charging cable of device:
  2. The OTG cable is not working. Please try with a new charging cable. If it still does not work, please contact customer service for warranty.
Local SIM Guide
  1. Local SIM is supported by device, which has one Nano SIM slot and one TF card Slot.
  2. Open the SIM card tray with a needle, and insert the SIM card as shown in the picture below. Please contact customer service if any issue encountered.
  3. Please remove the PIN of the SIM before you insert the SIM, as the SIMs with PIN are not supported by device.

APN Setting

Follow the steps below to set APN for local SIMs on device:

  1. Insert the local SIM, and select it in SIM Manager page;
  2. Then click “local SIM” on the list
  3. Click ‘Data Connection’ ;
  4. Click ‘Access Point Name (APN)’ to finish the settings

How long does it take to fully charge the Dveice ?****

It depends on the electronic current. If you use the charger 2A to charge the phone, it will take four hours to get the phone full charged.

How long can it work continuously?****

Approximately 12 hours once fully charged

How many connections can it support at the same time?****

The Device can support up to 5 connections at the same time

How long does it take to connect to the internet once switched on?****

It depends on the local network condition, normally it will take 1-2 minutes.
If it is used for the first time in a country, it may take up to 5 minutes

Why the signal icon shows 3G even if the device supports 4G?****

The Jetfi service depends on the local operators’ network, the 4G network is prioritized. When the 4G signal is weak, the signal will be transferred to 3G.

What should I do if it stops responding?****

Press the power button for 18 seconds

What should I do if the local SIM doesn’t work?

Manually enter the APN of the SIM card (‘SIM Manger’ -> ‘APN settings’, manually enter the APN info of your SIM card and save.)
