Installation and Maintenance
Caution
Before installation, disconnect the power network where you are planning on
installing the fan.
Caution
Installation may be carried out only by a qualified electrician. Before
mounting, the cover part of the ventilator must be removed by pressing with a
screwdriver on two locks under the case (Image 1). The ventilator must be
mounted in a ventilation duct by attaching the ventilator on the wall by the
use of screws (Image 2). The base model ventilators, ventilators with a switch
(W), ventilators with a timer (T), ventilators with a humidity sensor and
timer (HT) must be connected to the electrical network. Under the cover, there
are N-L or N-L-S clamps to which the electrical network must be properly
connected (Images 3-5). When connecting the ventilator with the voltage, it is
important to observe polarity and connect the line wire with L-clamp and
neutral wire with N-clamp. When connecting the fan to electricity, it is
important to take into account polarity and connect the live wire to the
Terminal L and the neutral wire to the Terminal N. In case if the fan is
directly connected to the electric power network, the power network must be
equipped with a switch that ensures safe disconnection of the power supply.
Bearing B
In addition, the fan is equipped with two ball bearings inside of the electric
motor. EN
Switch and Cable WP
A fan that is equipped with a pull-down switch and cable shall be connoted to
a power outlet. The fan is turned on and off by pulling down the string that
is located on the bottom of the fan.
Timer T
The fan is turned on by the S1 power switch (Drawing 4) or by turning on the
light (Drawing 5). After turning off the light or the switch, the fan
continues its operation for a specific time interval that is set up by a
controller. This interval may be 1 to 30 minutes long.
Caution
The fan power switch S1 (Drawing 4, drawing 5) must not be equipped with an
LED light indicator.
Humidity Sensor HT
The fan is equipped with a humidity level control that may be used to set the
level of humidity from ~60%RH – ~90%RH and a delay control that may be used to
set the delay from 1 to 30 min. The fan is turned on automatically when a
certain humidity level is reached in the room or it may be turned on manually
by a switch. Connection diagram is shown in Drawing 4-5. The fan is turned off
after a pre-set time interval. Humidity “H” and delay “T” controllers are
located on the control unit (Drawing 7). To set the maximum humidity level (~
90% RH) for moisture regulator “H” need turned fully clockwise.
Caution
The fan power switch S1 (Drawing 4, drawing 5) must not be equipped with an
LED light indicator.
Timer, Cable, and Switch TWP
A fan that is equipped with a timer, cable, and switch is turned on by a pull-
down switch. It will turn off after the pre-set time interval. To adjust the
timer, see section “Timer T”.
Humidity Sensor, Timer, Cable, and Switch HTWP
A fan that is equipped with a humidity sensor, cable, and switch is turned on
by a pull-down switch or after a certain humidity level is reached in the
room. It turns on after the pre-set time interval or if humidity in the room
drops to a certain level. To adjust the humidity sensor, see section “Humidity
Sensor HT”.
12V motor – 12
The fan is equipped with a 12V motor. A fan intended to be installed together
with 12V power supply.
Caution
Fans with electronic control unit must be adjusted before they are connected
to the power network.
