ABOUT

The JUMPSURGE3000 is a portable jump starter that delivers 3,000 peak amps for jump starting a 12V lead-acid battery in seconds. It supports quick and safe starts for 12V cars, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, lawnmowers, caravans, tractors, trucks, etc., with up to 9.0-liter gasoline or 7.0-liter diesel engines. It is able to jump-start the batteries 45 times on a single charge. It also functions as a power bank to quickly charge electronic devices like phones and tablets, or supply power to DC devices.

SAFETY CAUTIONS

Please read this manual carefully before using the tool and keep it for future reference.

  1. ONLY use the battery clamps that come with this product. the battery manufacturer.
  2. DO NOT use this product if the cable or the jump starter has any damage.
  3. This product can only be used for starting vehicles with 12-volt lead-acid batteries.
  4. Only jump-start vehicles when the battery level of the jump starter is above 50%.
  5. If the engine does not start successfully on the first try, disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery and wait at least 20 seconds before reconnecting. DO NOT attempt more than 3 consecutive jump-starts within 2 minutes.
  6. DO NOT put the product under direct sunlight or in high-temperature areas.
  7. DO NOT disassemble the product by yourself
  8. DO NOT place the product in high-temperature environments for a long time. The JUMPSURGE3000’s working temperature is of -10℃ ~40℃ (14 ℉ ~104 ℉ ).
  9. Check the battery level of this product every two months and charge it regularly.
  10. The JUMPSURGE3000 contains a Lithium-Ion Battery. Please dispose of it under local regulations at the end of its life.

A Guide To The Status Indicator:

If The Light is Solid Green:
The voltage of the vehicle battery is normal. You can jumpstart the vehicle with the JUMPSURGE 3000.
If The Light Doesn’t Turn On:
The voltage of the vehicle battery is too low to be detected. Press and hold the BOOST Button for around 3 seconds until it lights up. Then, the jump starter will enter a forced output mode. Start your vehicle within the next 30 seconds.
Note: The forced output mode disables all safety protections temporarily. Therefore, only use this mode when the vehicle battery is extremely low.

A Guide To The LED Light:

Press the Power Button once to turn on the jumpstarter. Press and Hold the Power Button for 3 Seconds to turn on the LED Light. Then Press the Power Button once to toggle between Flashlight, Strobe, SOS, and POWER OFF.

RECHARGE THE JUMP STARTER
The JUMPSURGE3000 comes partially charged and needs to be fully charged before use. Please charge your jump starter through the Type-C In port once you receive it.
Note: Only jump-start vehicles when the battery level of the jump starter is above 50%.

HOW TO JUMPSTART VEHICLES(12V ONLY)

Important:
Before attempting to jump-start a vehicle, make sure you have turned off all of the power loads of the vehicle, including headlights, radio, air conditioning, etc.
Step 1:
Plug the blue end of the battery clamps into the socket on the jump starter.

Step 2:
Connect the other end of the battery clamps to the vehicle battery. Red clamp to positive polarity(+), black clamp to negative polarity(-).

Step 3:
Press the Power Button once to power on the jump starter. The Battery Level Indicator will light up, which means the tool is ready to jump-start a vehicle. The Status Indicator will turn green which means the vehicle battery voltage is normal and ready for jump-starting.

Notes:

  • If the Status Indicator doesn’t turn on, press and hold the BOOST Button to enable the forced output mode.
  • The jump starter has a built-in buzzer that will ring when a reverse polarity, over-temperature, over-circuit, and other improper connections are detected. Disconnect the jump starter if the buzzer rings and connect again after the issue is resolved.

Step 4:
Try starting the vehicle. If it fails, disconnect the clamps from the vehicle’s battery and wait for 20 seconds, then reconnect and try again. Do not attempt more than 3 consecutive jump-starts within 2 minutes.

Step 5:
After successfully cranking the vehicle, the jump starter will automatically power off in 10 seconds without any operation. Remove the clamps from batteries and separate the clamps and jump starter.

Other Functions

This jump starter is able to be used as a power bank. Press the Power Button once to turn on the JUMPSURGE3000. Then you can quickly charge your phone or tablet through the USB Out port, and quickly charge your laptop through the Type-C Out port. You can also use it to supply DC power (Max 16.8V/10A) to other automotive devices, such as tire inflators or car fridges, through the DC Out port.

  • Q1: How many times can the JUMPSURGE3000 jump start a car with a full charge?
    Up to 45 times. It depends on the vehicle engine’s power and the vehicle battery’s power.

  • Q2: How long does it take to fully charge the JUMPSURGE3000?
    It varies depending on the adapter. The adapter that comes with the JUMPSURGE3000 is a 5V/3A, and its charging time is of approximately 6 hours.

  • Q3: How to turn off the JUMPSURGE3000?
    The device will automatically power off after 10 seconds without operation.

TOPDON warrants to its original purchaser that the company’s products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase (Warranty Period). TOPDON will repair or replace the defective part or product for the defects reported during the Warranty Period according to its technical supportanalysis and confirmation.TOPDON shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the device’s use, misuse, or mounting. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
This limited warranty is void under the following conditions:

  • Product misused, disassembled, altered, or repaired by unauthorized stores or technicians.
  • Careless handling and violation of the device’s operation.
