Warning

Stop using this product immediately if it makes any noise, generates unusual heat, has an unusual odor, or contains a foreign object.
Do not disassemble or modify this product in any way. It may cause a fire, electric shock or injury.
Children should not use this product alone. Do not use this product within the reach of children.
Do not immerse the product in water or allow it to get wet.
Otherwise, it may cause heat generation, fire, fire, electric shock, or explosion.
Please do not use, leave or store the product in a high temperature environment. Do not throw this product into fire.
Do not drop this product, place heavy objects on top of it, or give it a shock.
Doing so may result in electric shock, malfunction, injuries, or smoke/fire.
Please insert the power plug into the household outlet all the way to the back. If the plug is not inserted properly, poor contact may result in fire or electric shock.

Do not use this product near flammable oil, chemicals or flammable substances.
Do not use or store the product in a place where it is exposed to water or other liquids.
Please note that this product may become hot while charging or using it. Also, as the device is fully charged and this product approaches full charge, it will return to normal temperature.
A PD-compatible charging adapter is required for fast charging (output power of 18W or more is recommended).
Please note that we are not responsible for any damage, breakage, breakdown or loss of data on devices connected to this product.
When using the magnetic wireless charging function, please make sure that the device is compatible with MagSafe charging before using it.
When using the magnetic wireless charging, do not use a metal protective cover attached. This will activate the object detection and prevent proper charging.
Depending on the thickness of the protective cover, wireless charging may not work or charging may become slow. In this case, please remove the cover. Also, please note that wireless charging cannot be done while wearing a drop prevention ring.
This product may become hot when using the magnetic wireless charging function, but this is not a problem.
This product has a built-in magnet. Do not hold credit cards or other items close to or between this product. Doing so may result in damage to the magnetism or RFID chip.

Caution

This product has a built-in wireless transmitter that generates magnets and electromagnetic waves. These parts may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers. Please consult with your doctor before use.
Due to its characteristics, wireless charging is slower than cable charging.
Please note that this product cannot wirelessly charge non-MagSafe-enabled smartphones, but it can wirelessly charge some small devices such as AirPods.
If you cannot charge the device, remove the device from the power bank once. After 15 seconds you can charge it again.
It is possible that wireless charging may not be available due to unexpected updates to the device.

③ Kickstand

The stand can be used as a vertical or horizontal screen stand by attaching it to the MagSafe compatible iPhones or a protective cover that supports magnetic attraction. The stand is adjustable.
The stand may be unstable when used in vertical screen.
Check the position of the kickstand and use it at a stable place.
*Do not open the stand forcefully or apply strong force to it. It may cause damage, malfunction, or an accident.

How to Use

Preparation for charging the device

Connect the charging adapter to the product using the cable provided (USB USB-C to USB-C).

The charging cable that is included with this product supports fast charging (Power Delivery).
A charger adapter of 18W or higher that supports Power Delivery (PD) charging is recommended.
It is possible to charge with a charger adapter of less than 18W, but the charging speed may be slower.
If you do not have a compatible AC adapter, we recommend the CIO-PD20W2C and CIO-PD20W1C1A.

Wireless Charging for MagSafe Compatible Devices
  1. In the case of MagSafe compatible devices, when the product is close to the wireless charging point as shown above, it will be magnetically attracted to the point.
  2. Charging will start.
    *If charging does not start, please make sure that the charging adapter and cable are properly connected.
  • Only devices that support MagSafe charging can be charged.
  • The maximum output to the MagSafe compatible devices is 7.5W.
  • If you cannot charge the device, remove the device from the power bank once. After 15 seconds you can charge it again.
Wireless Charging for

Small Devices Other than Smartphones

Adjust the wireless charging area of the product and the charging point of the device.
*The wireless charging point differs depending on the device.

  1. Adjust the “wireless charging area” of the product and the wireless charging point of the device.
  2. Charging will start.
    The location of the wireless charging point varies depending on the device.
    Note that wireless charging will not work properly if the position of the product and the device are not properly aligned.
  • Only small devices other than smartphones can be charged wirelessly.
  • Charging smartphones and other devices may result in unstable or slow charging.

Wireless Charging

  • When using wireless charging, this product and the device may become hot, but this is not malfunction. The temperature will return to normal as the device gets closer to full charge.
  • The iPhone’s “Battery Charge Optimization” function slows down the charging speed from around 80% to preserve the battery. In order to reduce the degradation of the battery, the iPhone may temporarily stop charging at around 80%. You may be able to charge your iPhone beyond 80% by deactivating “Battery Charge Optimization”. [How to disable battery charging optimization] Tap “Settings” on your iPhone > tap “Battery” > tap “Battery Health” > uncheck “Optimized Battery Charging”.
  • Wireless charging may not work with protective cases or covers that are thicker than 3mm. In the case of MagSafe, charging cannot be done due to the thickness of the case or the device sliding out of position during charging. It is recommended to remove the case or use a genuine MagSafe compatible case.
  • Please note that wireless charging will not work properly if the product and the device are not in the correct position.
  • If your smartphone is wearing a case with metal or other decoration, the foreign object detection feature will be activated and wireless charging will not work.

Charging your Apple Watch
  1. Place the AppleWatch near the wireless charging point as shown above, and it will be magnetically attracted to the product.
  2. Charging will start.
  • The maximum power output to the Apple Watch is 2.5W.
  • When using wireless charging, the product and device may become hot, but this is not a malfunction. This will return to normal temperature as the device gets closer to full charge.
  • Please note that the charging position may become unstable depending on the type of the band.
  • “Battery Charge Optimization” needs to be deactivated to allow charging beyond 80%. [How to disable battery charging optimization] Tap “Settings” on your Apple Watch > tap “Battery” > tap “Battery Health” > uncheck “Optimized Battery Charging”.
  • This product is not Made for Apple Watch. Please note that charging time may differ from the manufacturer’s nominal values.
  • Due to the specifications of the Apple Watch, charging may stop temporarily, but will resume automatically.

Warranty

Thank you for purchasing CIO product. If the product has any defects such as initial malfunction, please contact us before reviewing.
We will replace it as an initial malfuntion product.
In case of malfunction occurred within the warranty period or correct use, we will also replace it.

Invoice/warranty or dealer’a receipt will become warranty so please keep it. The product will be guaranteed for replacement with it.

Please note that the warranty cannot be provided in the following cases.

  1. Accident due to careless handling while using it.
    (e.g. dropping, submerging and so on.)

  2. Failure due to any internal modification by the user

  3. Failure due to fire or water damage.
