Safety Tips

  • Read this instruction manual before using and keep it available at all times!
  • Continually observe the indications found in the manual for personal and machine safety.

  • Do not expose the machine to the elements.
  • Before installation, check that the chosen area is suitable, sufficiently lit, stable, and has enough surrounding space to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
  • This machine must only be used for its specific purpose; any other use is considered improper and therefore hazardous.
  • Check the suitability and weight of products to be processed; do not overload the machine.
  • Keep objects, tools, hands, or anything with hazardous parts away from the machine.
  • Keep the machine away from children.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the electrical socket when the machine is not in use.
  • In the event of malfunctions and/or problems, do not attempt to repair the machine. Contact the authorized retailer.
  • Use original spare parts only.
  • Before cleaning the machine, disconnect the power supply by unplugging the machine.
  • There must not be any loose items on the machine… all guards must be secure and protective devices enabled.
  • Do not clean with high-pressure jets of water.
  • The scrapers, placed under the lower rollers, must be properly secured.
  • The machine must always be transported by professionally qualified personnel, taking care to avoid damage to any part of the machine as a result of impacts caused by inappropriate lifting methods.
  • Damage to the machine caused during transport or handling is not covered by the warranty. Repair and replacement of damaged parts are the responsibility of the customer.

Installation and Cleaning

Before using, wash all the disassembled parts of the appliance (sieve, container for juice, a pressing cone) in warm water with the use of a delicate cleaning agent. Rinse with water and leave to dry. Put the container for the juice on the engine block and then put the sieve into the container. Place the relevant pressing cone on the engine drive. The biggest cone is used for pressing big oranges and grapefruits, the medium size cone is used for oranges and the smallest cone is used for lemons and limes.

Operation

  1. Position the cone.
  2. Cut the fruit to be squeezed into two halves.
  3. Switch on the appliance by putting the on/off switch to 1.
  4. Squeeze the fruit halves.
  5. Switch off the appliance by putting the on/off switch to 0.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Always switch off the motor and unplug the juicer first.
  2. Never immerse the motor base in water, wipe it with a damp cloth to clean it.
  3. The appliance is easily cleaned by removing all parts -cone, pip filter, bowl, and removable drip tray.
  4. Rinse all parts immediately after use.

Safety Instructions for Maintenance

Check the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the machine if the cable is damaged. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or service technician. To avoid injury, never attempt to repair the machine yourself. Servicing should only be performed by authorized technicians using original spare parts.

How to Install and Clean

The arranged area must be suitably illuminated and an electrical socket must be available. Place the machine securely on a flat surface, in a horizontal position, with adequate weight-bearing capacity, taking into account the maximum weight of the machine. Ensure the machine is mechanically stable. The resting surface must be sufficiently ample, even, and dry. The machine must be installed in rooms with nonexplosives. In any case, installation must also be performed in consideration of the work safety laws in force.

End of the day cleaning:

  • Remove the plug from the electrical socket at the end of the day.
  • Clean thoroughly using a damp cloth with a neutral cleaning product, which is non-corrosive,non-hazardous, and non-flammable.
  • Clean external machine parts with a damp sponge.
  • Do not use metallic pads and abrasive detergents.

Waste disposal:
At the end of its service life the discarded device has to be disposed of in accordance with national regulations. It is advisable to contact a company which is specialized in waste disposal, or just contact the local disposal service in your community.
WARNING!
Make the device unfit for use before disposal. For that purpose, disconnect the device from the main supply and remove the main connection cable from the device.

WARRANTY

WARRANTY Hamoki Ltd warrants the original purchaser of every new product (under normal and proper use and maintenance service as specified by Hamoki Ltd and upon proper installation and start-up in accordance with the instruction packet supplied with each unit) a one-year parts warranty.
Hamoki Ltd’s obligation under this warranty is limited to a period of one (1) year from the date of original installation.
