Powermister 2.0
Environmental Protection Information:
The packaging is made of recycled material:
– (corrugated) cardboard (mainly from old paper)
– moulded parts of polystyrene (CFC-free EPS)
– foils and polythene bags (PE)
– Polypropylene banding (PP)
Please re-cycle the packaging materials.
Your old machine:
If you have an old machine, it contains valuable materials and should be
disposed of separately from other waste.
– Old machines need to be made unfit for use immediately – undo connectors and
cut through cables.
– You will be able to get information about collection dates or collecting
points from your local town hall.
Characteristics and applications
- Centrifugal, nozzle-less spraying system.

Use
- Turn on the fan/ disc with the switch.
- Turn on the water supply so the spraying liquid will be delivered.
- If necessary, adjust the spray volume with help of the dosage valve.
- If using the AMP-02 as a ventilator only, shut off the water supply and turn off the pump.
2.1 Use For:

2.2 Precautionary measures:
- Mix the correct amount of liquid before starting the machine.
- Position the powermister and fill the tank with liquid.
- Ensure the brakes are applied before using the machine.
- Point the machine on the right direction. Direct it a little upwards so that the fog will also reach the ceiling.
- Make sure the hose is not kinked and that the water pump is always fully sumberged (depending upon the type of pump).
- To clean the motor and the filter run the Powermister just with clean water after having used disinfectant or medicine in the machine.
2.3 Using the Powermister:
Start
- Direct the machine towards the area you want to spray
- Turn on the fan.
- Open the water supply.
- Turn on the disc and the pump.
Stop
- Shut off the water supply.
- Turn off the disc and the pump.
- Turn off the fan.
- Remove the electric plug from the mains supply.
Safety measures
- Always take good notice of safety precautions, which are written in order to prevent accidents and to ensure that machines are used correctly
- Carefully read the safety instructions before use, and keep them in a readily accessible place. When lifting the Powermister, don’t lift it by the top (fan)assembly.
- Don’t turn the fan by hand.
- Switch off the mains power before attempting any repair.
- Please ensure that you do not spray onto any electrical equipment when using the Powermister. Fire or electric shock could result.
- Do not introduce your hand or any other objects into the rotating part or inside any safety grating. Never remove any safety grating.
- Regularly check that all components are properly tight. If the rotating disc becomes loose, it can be dangerous.

**Pump options
**
There is no pump included as standard. Users can choose between a standard
pump (8806706) or a peristaltic pump (0803701). The choice will depend upon
the type of chemicals that will be used.

Connection to the pump
Stap 1: Open the switch box on the fan
Step 2: Prepare the cables of the pump
Stap 3: Connect the cables of the powermister and the pump according to the
table below.

- On delivey, there will be either a black and a White wire, or 2 x black/ yellow wire. Polarity is not important, except that the green wire is the earth.
Maintenance
6.1 Immediately after use:
- Rinse the MS Powermister after every use with clean, lukewarm water.
- Run the Powermister briefly with warm soapy water in the tank to flush out an residues of any chemicals you have been using.
Hand grip and extra filling point
To make it easier to move, the Powermister has a handle-bar
The tank has an extra filling point.
Montage
Carefully remove the Powermister from the 2 boxes taking care that nothing
is left in the boxes. Don’t discard any packaging until the complete
Powermister has been assembled and its operation checked. In case of any
problems, the Powermister can be returned in the original packaging. First,
check that all components are present.
Attach the fan mounting bracket to the support using 4 bolts. (See picture 1)
Attach the fan unit to the mounting
bracket. (See picture 2. )
If the booster pump is to be used, attach this as shown in picture 3 and 4
Connect the hose from the water tank to the hose connection port (IN)
For assembling the cables from the
hose pump, see chapter : “connection of the pumps” Connect the water hose to
the water distributor as shown in picture 5. Ensure a good connection.
Ensure that all electrical connectors are switched off and that
the water supply is disconnected, before connecting to the mains electricity
supply.If you need to fog an area over a long period, connect a garden hose to
the water tank during the process. See last page for the connection of a
float-valve system.
