Thermaltake P8 DP-D5 Plus Pacific Ultra Core
The Pacific Ultra Core P8 DP-D5 Plus is a distro plate that is designed for liquid cooling systems in PC builds. It comes with a controller and LED Y-cable for customizable lighting options. The distro plate has several ports for liquid fill, inlet, outlet, and drain. It also includes a power cable, controller cable, bridge cable, MB SYNC cable, and wrench for installation.

Installation Guide
- Attach bracket B onto the distro plate A using screws C.
- Mount the distro plate A onto the PC case using screws (not included).
- Connect the reservoir cable to controller F.
- Connect the controller cable I onto the mainboard (USB 2.0 9pin) and controller F.
- Connect the power cable H to the 4-pin Molex connector and controller F.
- If you want to connect two or more controllers, use the bridge cable J to connect them.
- For liquid cooling system setup, use the ports on the distro plate A as follows:
- Circle 1 – Designed for liquid fill, choose one of the ports to use.
- Circle 2 – Designed for liquid inlet, choose one of the ports to use.
- Circle 3 – Designed for a liquid outlet, choose one of the ports to use.
- Circle 4 – The drain port.
- Fill the reservoir with coolant up to the line (normal coolant level) to avoid air bubbles during liquid cooling system operation.
- Set the DIP switch on the back side of controller F to assign the number of the controller.
Mainboard SYNC Installation Guide
Connect the MB SYNC cable K to the corresponding header(s) on your mainboard:
- ASUS Aura Addressable Strip Header(s)
- MSI JRGB-Strip Header(s)
- ASROCK Addressable RGB LED Header(s)
- GIGABYTE AOURS RGB Fusion with Digital LEDs
CAUTION: Power off the PC and check the positive and negative ends on the
connector before connecting the cable to the mainboard. Connecting the wrong
end can damage the LEDs.
With these installation steps, you can effectively install and use Pacific
Ultra Core P8 DP-D5 Plus in your PC build for an efficient liquid cooling
system.
This product is intended for installation only by expert users. Please consult
with a qualified technician for installation.
Improper installation may result in damage to your equipment.
- Please carefully read the manual before beginning the installation process!
- It is strongly recommended to use market-proven pre-mix coolant, such as Thermaltake Coolant 1000.
- DO NOT USE any kind of alcohol or alcohol derivatives with this reservoir or the acrylic tube may crack and fail! Do not clean it using alcohol either

Mainboard SYNC installtation Guide
CAUTION
Please power off the PC and check the Positive and Negative ends on the connector before connecting the cable to the mainboard. Connecting the wrong end can damage the LEDs.
Controller Installation Guide
- Connect the reservoir cable to the controller.
- Connect the controller cable to the mainboard (USB 2.0 9 pins) and controller.
- Set the DIP switch on the back side of the controller to assign the number of the controller
- Connect the power cable to the 4-pin Molex connecter and controller.
- If you want to connect two or more connectors, you can use the bridge cable to connect the controllers.
