TRISTAR HD-2502 Wireless Curling Iron
Product Information
The product is the Tristar HD2502 hair dryer. The hair dryer has a power of 35W and a battery that takes 4-6 hours to charge. Once fully charged, the hair dryer can operate for approximately 40 minutes. The temperature can be adjusted to your preference.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the hair dryer, make sure it is fully charged.
- Choose the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type.
- Plug in the hair dryer.
- Turn on the hair dryer by pressing the power button.
- Hold the hair dryer at least 6 inches away from your head.
- Aim the nozzle of the hair dryer at your hair in the direction you want it to dry.
- Move the hair dryer around your head so that all areas of your hair are evenly dried.
- When finished, turn off the hair dryer by pressing the power button.
- Unplug the hair dryer and store it in a safe and dry place.

SAFETY
- By ignoring the safety instructions, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
- To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the charging cable or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- After use the appliance should be cleaned to avoid the accumulation of grease and other residues.
- WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Potential burning hazard. Please be especially careful at all times.
- Only use the included charging cable to charge the battery. Improper charging may damage the battery and the device.
- Do not attempt to open the device as there are no serviceable parts inside.
- Avoid storing the device in extremely hot or cold environment. A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged.
- Do not dispose the device in a fire as it may explode. Please dispose it according to local regulation. Do not dispose it as household waste.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box and remove the stickers and protective foil or plastic.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth before the first use.
- During first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell. This happens because the appliance is new. It will fade after a few minutes. This does not mean there is a malfunction and it will not cause one.
Charging instructions and information
- Use the charger supplied, improper charging may damage the device.
- Fully charge the device before using it.
- Attach a USB plug to the USB power cable.
- Plug in the USB power cable into the charging port on the device, then it plug it in to a wall socket.
- The charging time is 4-6 hours. To prevent damage to the rechargeable battery, the device should not remain charging for more than 12 hours.
- A full battery will allow for 40 minutes of operation. The maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery is only achieved after multiple charging processes.
- The battery level indicators will flash while the appliance is charging.
- When the battery is fully charged the 3 battery level indicators will stay illuminated.
- The device cannot be used while it is charging.
- The device will automatically shut down when the battery is too low.
Battery level indicator
- 100% batter power level (all 3 battery level indicators are illuminated).
- 75% battery power level (“75%” and 20%” indicators are on).
- 20% battery power level (please charge the device).
USE
- Fully charge the battery according to the instructions given in the chapter “Before the first use”.
- To turn the device on and off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Note: The device will automatically shut down if no operation is
performed within 12 seconds.
Note: The device will automatically shut down after 20 minutes of
continuous use.
- Press the temperature control knob to set the desired temperature.
- (High) – 210° C, (Medium) – 190°C, (Low) – 170° C
- The selected temperature will stop flashing when the device has reached the target temperature.
- To maintain the selected temperature, press the power and the temperature selection button at the same time. This will prevent you from accidentally changing the temperature. Press again to unlock.
- The device becomes extremely hot, never touch the curling barrel and clamp while the device is heated.
- Always let the device rest on the stand when it is heated, never rest it on its sides.
- The thicker your hair the higher the temperature can be.
- For the best results, the hair should be clean, dry and tangle free.
- Divide the hair is several parts.
- Start at back neck area, grip the hair 2.5 centimetres from the scalp.
- Gently pull the hair downwards, open the clamp and place the hair between the curling barrel and the clamp then turn it gently downwards along the hair.
- Do not hold the curler on one spot for more than 2 seconds as this may damage your hair.
- Continue along the sides and finish at the front top area.
- Turn off the device after use.
- Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Allow the device it to cool down completely. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the device surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.
Storage
- Allow it to cool down completely and store in its box, in a dry place.
- Never store it while it is hot or with the charging cable still plugged in.
- Never wrap the charging cable tightly around the device.
- Never hang the device by the charging cable.
