Safety Instructions

  • Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

Product Usage Instructions

Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet and switch on the appliance.

  1. Wait for the appliance to heat up to the desired temperature.
  2. Add the food to the cooking surface and close the lid.
  3. Allow the food to cook for the recommended time. Check on the food periodically to prevent overcooking or burning.
  4. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the electrical outlet once cooking is complete.
  5. Clean the cooking surface and the exterior of the appliance using a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  • To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the charging cable or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
  • After use the appliance should be cleaned to avoid the accumulation of grease and other residues.
  • WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

Potential burning hazard. Please be especially careful at all times.

  • Only use the included charging cable to charge the battery. Improper charging may damage the battery and the device.
  • Do not attempt to open the device as there are no serviceable parts inside.
  • Avoid storing the device in extremely hot or cold environment. A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged.
  • Do not dispose of the device in a fire as it may explode. Please dispose it according to local regulation. Do not dispose it as household waste.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box and remove the stickers and protective foil or plastic.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth before the first use.
  • During first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell. This happens because the appliance is new. It will fade after a few minutes. This does not mean there is a malfunction and it will not cause one.

Charging instructions

  • Use the charger supplied, improper charging may damage the device.
  • Fully charge the device before using it.
  • Attach a USB plug to the USB power cable.
  • Plug in the USB power cable into the charging port on the device, then it plug it in to a wall socket.
  • The charging time is 3 hours.
  • A fully charged battery will allow for 30 minutes of operation.
  • The battery level indicator will flash while the appliance is charging.
  • When the battery is fully charged the 3 battery level indicators will stay illuminated.
  • The device cannot be used while it is charging.
  • The device will automatically shut down when the battery is too low.

H: High battery power level (all 3 indicators are illuminated)
M: Medium battery power level (“L” and “M” indicators are on)
L: Low battery power level (“L” indicator is illuminated, please charge the device)

USE

  • Fully charge the battery according to the instructions given in the chapter “Before the first use”.
  • To add water, open the tank cover then and remove the water tank form the device.
  • It is recommended to use purified water, do not use oils or any other liquids.
  • Open the rubber plug on the tank and use the refill bottle supplied to inject water into the tank.
  • Close the tank with the rubber plug, place it in back into the device and close the tank cover.
  • To turn the device on and off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.

Note: The device will automatically shut down if no operation is performed within 12 seconds.
Note: The device will automatically shut down after 20 minutes of continuous use.

  • Press the temperature control knob to set the desired temperature.
  • (High) – 200° C, (Medium) – 180°C, (Low) – 160° C
  • The selected temperature will stop flashing when the device has reached the target temperature.
  • Unlock the straightening plates by pressing the unlock button.
  • To lock the plates, wait until it has cooled down completely, close the plates then press the locking button.
  • For the best results, the hair should be clean, dry and tangle free.
  • Divide the hair in several parts and use hair clamps to hold the parts.
  • Start at back neck area, open the first clamp and grip the hair 2.5 centimetres from the scalp.
  • Gently pull the hair downwards, grasp with the hair straightener gliding it gently downwards along the hair.
  • Repeat for thick or coarse hair.
  • Continue along the sides and finish at the front top area.
  • The device will automatically start releasing steam when the temperature has been selected and the heating plates are clamped. The steam produced can moisturize the hair and reduce over-heating damage to the hair. The steaming will automatically stop when the heating plates are released.
  • Turn off the device after use.
  • Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Allow the device it to cool down completely. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the device surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.

Storage

  • Allow it to cool down completely and store in its box or in a dry place.
  • Never store it while it is hot or with the charging cable still plugged in.
  • Never wrap the charging cable tightly around the device.
  • Never hang the device by the charging cable.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances.
