TLS 2200 Thermal Labeling System Portable Printers and Labels
The Brady TLS 2200 printer is a portable labeling system that is versatile and
powerful. It is designed to allow you to print labels whenever and wherever
you want. It is lightweight, weighing only 2.75 lbs (1.25 kg) and is
recommended for medium-volume printing (approximately 500 labels per print
run) with a maximum label width of 4.000 in. The printer prints 203 dpi (8
dots/mm) and has a custom TrueType font. It is capable of printing barcodes
(Code 39) and labels up to 2.000 wide (50.80 mm). It has a print width of
1.810 in (45.97 mm) and print length up to 54.000 in (1371.60 mm).
The TLS 2200 printer has a two-line liquid crystal display (LCD),16 characters
wide and is UL and CUL listed battery charger -120V/60hz input 9VDC 183mA
output.
Smart-Cell Technology makes printing fast and easy. No calibration is required since the printer automatically formats the label. The non-smearing, thermal transfer printing and barcoding capability makes this the perfect tool for electrical, datacomm,and industrial applications. Over 350 stock label sizes are available including die-cut labels, self-laminating markers, heat shrink markers, terminal block markers, and continuous tape.
Other features of the Brady TLS 2200 printer include memory (allowing you to create and save legends in lists), banner printing, and PC connectivity using the optional LabelMarkTM design software. The TLS 2200 printer is adjustable for six different widths of labels and has a built-in industrial label cutter. It has patent numbers D409; 230; 5,918,989; 5,951,177; 6,113,293 and 6,142,686. The printer comes with a hard case, R6210 ribbon,battery pack, battery charger, Quick Start Guide, manual,communications cable, test labels (PTL-19-423), and one cleaning card.
Product Usage Instructions
- Power on your TLS 2200 printer using the AC adapter or battery pack.
- Load the label material into the printer’s label compartment and ensure that it is aligned correctly.
- Use the two-line liquid crystal display (LCD) to select the desired label format or create your own.
- Use the keyboard to enter the text you want to print on the label.
- Press the print button to print the label.
- If necessary, use the industrial label cutter to cut the label to the desired length.
- Repeat steps 3-6 as needed for additional labels.
- When finished, power off the printer and store it in its case for safekeeping.
Note: For advanced features such as PC connectivity and designing custom labels, refer to the user manual or optional LabelMarkTM design software.
