Unbox and Lay Out Covers
Your covers will come in multiple different pieces that zip together. The
standard island should have 5 cover pieces, whereas this particular unit in
the guide has 7 (two added modules).
Each cover should be labeled or marked as exactly what it is. Please make sure
to take note of each piece as you unpackage.
Lay covers out in front of you to get a better visual understanding.
Installation
Step 1: Install Main Grill Cover
Install main grill cover. This one is easy to find since it is the only piece
that has the “Mont Alpi” logo on it. Drape the cover from front to back, as
you see demonstrated in the picture.
Step 2: Install left cabinet cover
-
Notice: The left and right cabinet covers are one in the same. They will work on either side.
-
It is important to note that there is a zipper and puller only on one side of the inner cover as pictured below. These need to be positioned correctly in order for the covers to line up and zip together.
-
Drape the cover from front to back and use the zipper puller from the main grill cover to zip together.
-
***NOTE: The zipper and puller of the cabinet cover needs to be on the LEFT side (to zip the end cap cover)
Step 3: Install left end cap cover
The end cap covers are not universal; so, you will see both pieces labelled differently in their packaging. The left end cap does not have a zipper puller, whereas the right end cabinet has a zipper puller and an extra cover lip around the edge.
Line zippers up and use zipper puller from cabinet cover to zip in the left end cap cover.
Step 4: Install Beverage Center cover
-
The beverage center cover can only fit on the unit one way. The zipper puller is always on the left side of the bev cover, so as long as this is lined up with the right side of the main grill cover, it should go together easily.
-
Drape unit from front to back. Notice the cover for the faucet can be removed if it makes it easier.
-
If your unit does not have an added module (like a bev center, kegerator, or 90 corner, all you’ll need to do is install the right cabinet cover and end cap cover, just as you did on the left side of the grill.
Step 5: Install 90-degree corner cover
90-degree corner covers are straightforward. The strip covers the visible front panel as shown in the pictures. Zip Bev cover and 90 cover together with the 90 cover’s zipper puller.
Step 6: Install right cabinet cover
- Install cabinet cover over right cabinet, just like in step 2. Drape over from front to back.
- Make sure zipper and puller are on the left side. Use the cabinet cover’s zipper puller to connect the 90-degree corner cover.
Step 7: Install right end cap cover
The final step is to zip in the right end cap cover. This should easily line up and zip together.
Cover installation complete. Please reach out direct to Mont Alpi if there are
any additional questions.
