KAMMOK Outpost Vehicle Mounted Hammock Stand
Product Information: Outpost Vehicle-Mounted Hammock Stand
The Outpost is a hammock stand designed to be mounted on the back of a vehicle
such as an SUV or a pickup truck. It is made up of two main components: the
Outpost mount and the Outpost frame.
The Outpost mount attaches to the vehicle while the Outpost frame holds up the
hammock.
The Outpost frame has a weight capacity of 350 lbs and comes with hammock
straps to attach your hammock. It also includes a structural ridgeline that
adds stability to the hammock setup. The product is designed in Austin, Texas
and is made in China.

Product Usage Instructions: Outpost Vehicle-Mounted Hammock Stand
Note : Before using the Outpost, make sure all bolts are securely fastened to ensure the safety of this product.
Outpost Mount Setup
- Mount one of the clamp plates to the ball hitch assembly using two of the nyloc nuts and flush head bolts.
- Insert the 4 longer hex head bolts through the bottom of the other clamp plate, and position the mount assembly on your rack/crossbars.
Horizontal T-Slot Mount Setup
- Slide two T-slot nuts into your desired position in the T-slot channel.
- Position the ball hitch assembly over the T-slot nuts. Bolt securely in place using two of the hex head bolts.
Vertical T-Slot Mount Setup
- Slide two T-slot nuts into your desired position in the T-slot channel.
- Position the ball hitch assembly over the T-slot nuts. Bolt securely in place using two of the hex head bolts.
Outpost Setup
- Remove your Outpost from the bag.
- Press the spring pin buttons on the main pivot joint in, one at a time, to deploy the legs into the open and locked position.
- Telescope the legs to the approximate desired height by pressing the top of the release lever.
- Attach the middle section of the structural ridgeline.
- Attach the ball receiver section of the structural ridgeline.
- With the A frame legs resting on the ground, lift the receiver end of the structural ridgeline and drop it onto the ball hitch mount.
- Install the U shaped lock pin to secure the Outpost to the mount.
- Loop one of the included straps through the hole on the hitch receiver.
- Loop the other included strap through the strap bar on the main pivot joint.
- Connect both straps to your hammock and enjoy!
Note: The Outpost has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. Use with caution as inherent risks exist. Do not modify the stand or hammock in any way, as modification may result in failure or injury and will void the lifetime warranty.
